hahaha i wasn't expected many people to take me seriously, as I am not taking myself seriously, but rather filling in the holes in as colorful and happy a way as I could. I WILL do that plot analysis thingy and prove to you all, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that 1. Jack and Elizabeth ARE in fact destined to end up together and DO in fact consummate that during the films, and 2. I AM in fact meant to be a lawyer for my amazing abilities at BSing and manipulating facts. 😉

by the way, and this isn't bashing, it's just an observation, Will looks like a really bad kisser. If you watch the Willabeth kiss slowly and carefully, he seems awkward and not very into it. i mean, obviously no kisses can compare to one CERTAIN kiss, but I was surprised by how weird he looks when he kisses. James looks more into his kiss, to be honest, and pulls it off better.

Say all--we can start a point counter point forum right--I just love my own idea of how it is and I don't think I can be persuaded to cease with that line. Yes oh yes oh yes, bad boys forbidden and foreign, erotic and exotic--fantasy made flesh...Jack's all that--plus his criminially full lips, framed by his 'stach. Ah, but then there's faithful, fulfilling, charming and constant, erotic and exciting, the true blue one with his own grace.

Ah Kate......you can fill in the plot holes however you see fit...cuz obviously the own creators of this trilogy didn't even know what they were.....it's all left to interpretation...as the girls over at Tasty Pirates say...that look Jack gives Lizzy as she is walking away...just that whole goodbye scene...it just seems as if he is saying "you haven't seen the last of me...." "keep telling yourself that darling"......I have said this over and over and I'll keep saying it...the true romance/love story of this trilogy is that of Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow.....as Gore said "the story of the Governor's Daughter and the Blacksmith has been told, it's finished".......so......but her story is yet to be told......their story is yet to be told.....but what about the Pirate King and the Pirate..has their story been told, not quite, only just begun!

Now I do agree with you on that one. Even in the wedding kiss, Elizabeth seems much more into it, totally dominating that kiss. Will and Jack both seem to just sit back and let Liz do whatever she wants to them when it comes to kissing...probably for different reasons and not saying that's not hot in some way...but since Will is technically the one fighting for her ever since COTBP, shouldn't he be a little more dominating? Shouldn't he seem more into it?

Again, subtle hints that maybe James was the best match for her the whole time...but I'm a sparrabether first, norribether second. But yes, he seems much more into it and the fact that he takes the dominant role in that kiss is refreshing. I can't wait to see your analysis. Be prepared for me to argue with you! I like playing devil's advocate. But I'm excited.

I've been wondering. Did we ever get an explanation of why Will was 'better' for Elizabeth than Jack? (ha, ha ha ha). Did T&T ever mention it, because I know it's an issue for a lot more people than just us here. And, I was thinking, maybe we can show them the error of their ways, and convince them to do a remake? Anyone up for it?

the thing that gets me about those pictures is the fact that you can see Keira's arm stretching offscreen, but it is clearly positioned around johnny's waist 🙂

Its a posessive pose IMHO (not in keira's case, but in Elizabeth's case). But even without the actors actually being in character, for me personally, you can tell that they have somekind of connection (whether it be friendship or whatever 🙂).

To be honest with you, for a long time now i have been wondering whether alot of the chemistry between jack and liz was either put there intentionally by the writers, put there unintentionally by kiera and johnny...or put there by keira who didn't read the whole of the script and therefore assumed that liz would end up with jack lol! 🙂

As for the DVD!! Two deleted scenes that are nice but nothin Sarrabethy unfortunately. I love the DVD but there weren't any commantaries!!! The bloopers were nice and the 'brethren court' one was really good. So was the one with johnny and keith. If anyone has seen the third disc can they plz tell me what was on it?

I think Keira was trying to pour it on so hard with Johnny it came off as fake to me.

to be honest, if i were her and they had asked me to come onto jack sparrow and make it entertaining to watch...i would have kakked my pants to be quite honest lol.

i think she did a good job, and at the end of the day they had to be professional about it and get on with it....but all in all, i think she did a pretty good job ....

Atleast she had minimal drool coming from her mouth in her closeups lol 😄

I mean I think she did what she was supposed to do but I do think she played it up and tried really hard. That's my opinion on it. I felt like Jack's character seemed the same during scenes when they were flirting, he was just being Jack, but she was acting very different IMO.

i wonder what sort of relationship Johnny and Keira had around set. I mean, from some of the interviews, Johnny tries to make it sound like he was uncomfortable playing the romantic scenes... but if that's true, he is a MUCH Better actor than I give him credit for, because it looks like they are both having WAYYYY too much fun in ALL their scenes together. Not only that, they always look very comfortable with each other physically--- i think it's what you call proximity chemistry... not just romantic or whatever, but when you can just tell two people get along really well.

that's what i don't get between Will and Liz/ Keira and Orlando... except when they are on the red carpet together, oddly enough. they always look like they are having a great time then.

Johnny/Jack always just seems to take on this sense of vulnerability when he is close to keira/elizabeth in the films and its just gorgeous.

does anyone else feel weird calling them by their first names? i think i might call them ms.knightly and mr. depp from now on or something. its a bit creepy. haha.
