Yeah, it's like we know them personally. We probably should call them Mr. and Ms. But let's not for simplicity.

I would love to see some footage of just everyone offscreen hanging out. There is a comfort the whole cast seems to have with each other. It would have to be that way I guess since in AWE they are all onscreen together a lot. That's party of why I like AWE is that for once our trio is not split up and the supporting cast is right there supporting them 100%. It's interesting to think that they were all actually friends. You know, Kate, I wonder if Johnny and Keira did feel some chemistry, but not in that way. She obviously likes him and I think she even said once in the first movie she was shy about working with him, and he has complimented her acting and seems to think very highly of her, so I bet they can sense each other's admiration for the other. But I still think he was uncomfortable doing love scenes with her. But hey, he's Johnny. He could act his way out of a paper bag, and keep in mind, if they did a whole bunch of takes, he would get more and more comfortable and it's not like he had to take over and fondle her senseless. He just had to show his character accepting those kisses and be fully absorbed in them.

Oh please!! The man found lathering up Al Rickman for a shot in Sweeney Todd to be "the most uncomfortable moment in his life!" surely kissing Keira couldn't be that BAD! I'm sure he enjoyed it and he was just being modest!! lol

He had to have been flattered at any rate that a young woman in her prime finds him attractive. I'm sure he's secure, but it's always an ego boost when someone younger likes you.

like a stunt? oh i am so sure. 😉 3 and 1000? johnny, come on. i've dated men 15 years older than myself and frankly, its not weird if it's right. but whatever.

kissing on set must have a totally different vibe though--- i would think, actually, it would be MORE awkward for Keira because women always have to avoid coming across as "the other woman"... and knowing Johnny's lady (i forget her name) would see the film would make ME nervous--- but clearly none of that sabotaged their performance.

sometimes i wonder whether Johnny's lady's reaction to the kiss didn't somehow influence the lack of sparrabeth in awe...

i guess that's all the nature of the beast, though.

Keira WAS an awfully good sport about kissing nearly everyone... i mean, AWE was nuts for her. wouldn't it be AWKWARD to act with Chao Yun Fat?!?! He's like, a legend!

I'm thinking Johnny is kind of socially weird anyway in his own way so I wouldn't think he would be comfortable kissing all over someone no matter how many times he does it. He does his job though. That's one thing about him comfortable or not he delivers.

Miz Kateloves, I'm old school😑 , two things age and being reared in the south. That's howcome y'all get the Miz added. It's respect and friendship that allows me to add Miz to the piratistas and call it square amongst the brethern here.

When it's the characters I have not a problem calling them by those names, otherwise, I'm major shy about using the actors Christian names since we've not been formally introduced. Deference to others, how square don't you know? Amazing in light of how the 'rain' pictures send my er uh, heart racing. He looks like he's just achieved...the award~~And some of the highly energized feelings I have held close after admiring some of Mr. Depp's work aren't exactly demure or particularly formal--no shyness there. 😱Odd batch of social mores from decades ago--but I learned 'em right and proper and I'm loathe to part with them. 🙄

😄 This is so selfishly vain (I suppose?) when I hit the submit post button and then Miz Savvy's beautiful banner comes up, it just melts my heart (a bigger than Dallas AWWWWW), Mr. Depp's sweet sweet face as Sam just makes big warm cuddly part of my brain? achieve maximum saturation!! Keira has gone on record to say that she has no problem doing nude scenes or love scenes! and Johnny will do it to get the Job done!
hmmmm *i wonder if I apporach Johnny and tell him that I'm an actress with a problem of doing onscreen kisses and that a kiss with him would rid me of my fears of kissing onscreen. I would say stirctly professional, i wonder if he'll do it, u know to help me get over my fears?...lol*

I heard a rumour a few months ago in one of our english magazines that had gossip on keira and her boyfriend rupert friend.

Apparently he went out to visit her on set when they were shooting in LA, and he met the cast etc.
the magazine said that rupert became very insecure whilst he was there because of the way that keira interacted with johnny (during their scenes and ofcourse offscreen) because they seemed very close (but not in THAT way lol).

Apparently rupert didnt like this very much, especially because johnny is a massive star (and obviously he knew that keira liked him when she was like 15 lol) and keira looked up to him.

I dont know how much truth the magazine had to it to be honest (because you know what the media are like) , but if this is true then obviously keiras fella must have felt uncomfortable....

But i guess that after 3-4 years of working together, you just get comfortable 🙂

PLUS...what man wouldn't be insecure in Johnny's presensce..he's only the sexiest, most beautiful man in the world.....can't really blame Rupert...I mean look at him..then look at Johnny...and yeah, I would say Johnny and Keira seem pretty tight....not in that way...but you all know what I mean...that's why they had so much chemistry on film....

and it's not that way with all the women...there are some of Johnny's co-stars that I never felt that pull between them...like when he is in Sleepy Hollow and The Man Who Cried with what's her face.....I can't think of her name....

Lol, Sleepy Hollow. I love that movie, but I can see what you mean about the chemistry. He and Christina Ricci didn't even kiss. I wonder if he also felt discomfort there and wouldn't do it. The kiss in DMC is huge for the plot, so it had to be done, but if it didn't have to be...I wonder if Johnny would have gone through with it? Ponderings...

Just found something cute, funny and totally sparrabeth 😛

I found pics of a sand-pirate ship someone made on their holiday by the sea, complete with POTC action figures doing things around the ship. Lizzie and Jack at the bow (whith the whelp walking the plank - mwahaha), Lizzie standing over Will's cell in the torture chamber 😛, they even put a hermit crab on the ship (to represent the kraken) - at first it attacked Jack, then the whelp over and over again.

Made me laugh, so I thought i would share 😄

aint that the truth!! I would believe that cause like LTT said what wouldnt feel insecure around Johnny! Every husband or boyfriend of an actress Johnny works with should be very very insecure because he is the most Gorgeous man alive! lol...I know that if i worked with Johnny my bf should be very worried!!! lol

Sleepy Hollow was prolly one of his worst on screen pairings. Lord he and Ricci had no chemistry and it was really her IMO, not him

I doubt it cause in the Man Who Cried Ricci and Johnny had 2 love scenes and several kisses! and I actually like them together! actually for when they did Sleepy Hollow i have a friend whose friend is Ricci's cousin and she said that Johnny and Ricci "hung out a lot" during the filming. This was a little before or around the time he met Vanessa! So i would believe it! 🙂

I agree with the christina ricci thing (who also admitted that she rather fancied johnny lmao! 😄).

You know what i think? I think its his enigma that makes women fall for him...he seems wise and 'other worldly' to me...the bad boy trying to lead the quiet life...i love that edge to him 😄

But to be honest with you, before i was a major sparrabeth shipper i was a ichabod/katrina shipper ... and i thought that those to acted well together....THEREFORE, i was very pleased to hear they were doing another film together (the man who cried) because i knew that that film was more grown up, and they could take their acting abilities a step further than before 🙂

My question to you is:

If johnny and keira were in another film together, and this time it was more adult than disney (and you know what i mean by adult lol😄)....would you watch it? or would you turn away and cringe???

Personally, i would want to watch it because i would like to see just how far they can go in their acting abilities and with eachother.

keira has said that she has no problems with love scenes, and yet johnny finds them uncomfortable...i guess i would like to see whether the same onscreen chemistry between them is still there....

I would not want to see Johnny Depp stuck with Keira Knightley in another film. Good Lord.
