I actually would rather be The Lady in the Red Dress than Elizabeth Swann. I think she is a huge topic. Huger than Elizabeth Swann.

I wonder if all the mess on PotC is based on that she isn't in the movie, but supposedly she is Scarlett. http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Scarlett

Lots of fun. It's changed my life! But I had that planned somewhere.

I think this forum is @ anti-DavyJonesBeth. It's become so simpleton with the crash of the 17-yr-olds. yek. i hate his. but thats bc i want to be somewhere like this, but all the forums I have found online are 14/15-yr-olds. I will do something.

I didn't hate it at all, but I feel there is prejudice just all swimming around. It will be the thing that gets us, though.. But I can already feel it..

Miz ChristBar, merciful bean soup piratista--Shall we have an accord, please? Quote the post and then for pity's sake, edit the chaff--I love reading WilloftheWisp and KatelovesPirate, just not the whole bit indefinitely--keep the stuff what's your point donchaknow?

Also, you have some good things to contribute--if'n you're not so Sparrabeth, there's a Willabeth, a Norriebeth, let's see just about anyonebeth, tho' it's a bit hard on my delicate sensibilities for the barbossabeth or Yuk--the Beckettbeth (grotty). This here is for the Holy of holies and that's just it in a nutshell.

There's the totally off topic for me cos I'm Attention deficit/hyperactive to the nines and there's always bunches of stuff that can distract me. My personal fave and what got me here was the Pants thread. Damn near laughed my behind into the next county on that one. Taught my nieces "Do you fear Pants?" Causes us all to fall down laughing cos it's funny.

Keep on sharing them wonderful thinking, if'n you don't mind--this is one spot for indulging just what it says--so, Pirate, do we have an accord? Aye or nay--here gentleness for this love--comfort for it lost or delayed.

This message tendered with all love and caring towards any and all. Not my intention to determine any other's behavior, life's too short. Love to you, new to me as I am to you, can you manage some patience with me?

thes ppl on ere r kinda sweeet

Well, I for one am anti- davyjones and elizabeth. Just as I am adamantly against Barbossa and Elizabeth--- anytime I hear reference to that couple, I react with "GROSS YUCKY STOP!" While both of those characters are wonderful villains and lots of fun, pairing them up with a very young british girl is just too twisted for me.

of course, many would argue the same about pairing Jack and Elizabeth. But since the writers saw fit to do it, and the pairing made up a significant part of the films, I think it's something of a different story.

ChristnaB, I sometimes find it very difficult to decipher your posts. but if you are saying that this thread is preoccupied with sparrabeth to the detriment of other pairings, I can only say, it is the sparrabeth thread and we are all very serious sparrabethers who never run out of things to say about it... 🙂 (we haven't yet anyway). You are certainly welcome to create threads for any pairings you may feel are under-represented on the board.

IN OTHER SPARRABETH NEWS, I saw the POTC valentines at Target, and Will's says, "Youre heroic, valentine," or something like that, but both Jack and Elizabeth's say, "It's a pirate's life for me, Valentine". 🙂

I think Jack doesn't like Elizabeth and that she is too dorky for him.

While it shocks the eyeballs right out of me, to encounter the necessity

(I was a big on PotC merchandise, I wanted something like this

http://www.collector-connection.com/bratz-bedding-comforter.html)

, that doesn't surprise me in the least. I control the world. They are very careful and remember that funny feeling o (since I am 21) is this cool generation "too young" to be older than these kids.

I feel that Elizabeth Sparrabeth basically is, Elizabeth saying, "No one is too young to be my parent and I do think that is a real issue in this way I think (that which isn't,) and the reason other children had this problem is (even though it's bc of my critique and "pain"(-not)) bc they s*** and did something wrong (but they didn't.!) So, I pretend I don't have the only problem that I have."

So, which Sparrabeth are we talking about? Sparrow as Elizabeth's 2nd father or a 2nd boyfriend? Or an escape from Will. She isn't in love with Jack. She isn't this:

http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Scarlett

Are you all SparroYou?

or

Why are you Sparrabeth? That should have been the first question.

Since you're forever Sparrabeth, can you get anything out of this?

So, now I can take it it's a do I get the spotlight in Sparro-Who or does Elizabeth or neither. And "what is Sparrabeth." That's an old one.

"I think Jack doesn't like Elizabeth and that she is too dorky for him."---christna.

I have to disagree. If anything, I think Jack's feelings for her are stronger than her feelings for him. The entire second movie is him trying to sort out his feelings for her, not wanting to want her, but wanting her just the same. It's the whole reason why the compass won't work for him. He's positive Elizabeth isn't conflicted in what she wants and assumes the compass will work for her, which is why he gives it to her.

What do you mean by "what kind of sparrabeth?" Like Kate, I'm a little confused by your posts, too. I personally like to think that Jack and Elizabeth are soul mates whose paths crossed and will cross again later. Their relationship is complicated and limited due to circumstances and their own sense of what should be. Neither thinks they SHOULD be with the other, but it doesn't change how they feel. That's my take on them in summary.

So you're into Scarlett, huh? It seems like the movies seemed to favor Giselle, but both are kind of intriguing characters since they have a history with Jack and even though he's cheated on both of them with the other, they seem to be friends, hanging out together even when he's not there for them to fight over.

Just for my benefit, can you grammar check your posts, please? I can't tell where your sentences begin and end and it makes it hard to tell what you're asking all of us or what you're sharing. Thanks!
