It's not age that disgusts me when I think of Davybeth or whatever DavyYou is. It's the fact that he is a straight up villain, non-human, still pining over unrequited love for another woman. Jack and Elizabeth, through the movies, manage to have a friendship, a lot in common, and a mutual attraction to each other. There is nothing to suggest that she and Davy would be happy together, especially since Davy likes to enslave people and kill everyone else.
I have nothing wrong with DavyJMe or DavyJonesBeth.. I just see why anybody would WANT to ship them because to be honest, where on earth is there ever something remotely beyond hate between LizzieBeth and Davy Jones? I would ship DavyJones & I but um, the whole "i love calypso, im a murder and have tentacles" isn't the sort of man I'm going for..
If you've read the books, Lizzie & Jack definitely share something. And in the movies!!

Ok, so maybe I am way too new for this, but I know it's good for me. I dunno. I feel kinda funny. Bc I grew up in the South and I've never had friends nor really felt comfortable in what I wanted to do. I can have fun, but I thought this was more fun.
But you're right; I wasn't thinking that there's that children's series Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow. We should consider their ages aren't the actors' ages. Elizabeth looks older, and Jack looks younger.

Well, I have something wrong with SparraMe but nothing wrong with Sparrabeth! But who else for Sweet Ole Jack Sparrow is the question. Actually, from the children's series, I believe he is young.
It's hard to think out of terms of Depp&Knightley bc I read an article that she prefers his kissing, which is bad for Will (bad for Elizabeth actually,) bc their ages are closer than mine to Will.

It's not fair. Ppl born @ 1960 don't like us. They're happy with their children and left ppl Davy Jones' age marooned with lots of problems. No Sparrabeth, either.
If they have a problem with children so deeply, why did they have them. I know it was just so they don't have to think @ us ever at all.
You'd think that's what PotC is, but I think that it's also for spoiled kids, otherwise there wouldn't be all these problems already.

no one is mad at you, and we are very happy to hear your opinions on the pirates films. but it's important to us all to have somewhat focused and coherent discussions on the topics explained in each thread. we're all busy people making time for a little Pirates obsession on the side. so we have to use that time wisely. savvy?

I think most ppl like what I post. Actually, I post @ POTC films. I don't turn it into a parady, though. I'm not here like you all to talk @ other stuff. I don't care if you do. You always forget what the generations are, so that's why I brought it up. That's all POTC is @ and you can't change that hard as you try. It'll only lead to yours ruin.
There's real life if you want to turn movies into things that they aren't. You can do that here and I don't care at all. But I don't think anyone wants that Thread.

Although I must say your last post actually made some sense...and I'm not gonna argue with you....just tell you that we dont make things up! Jack and Liz clearly felt for each other and we all saw it! But in the end they didnt end together and so us Sparrabethers have gone on to create fanfics to satisfy out Sparrabeth needs!
You may not understand the love we have for Sparrabeth but stick around and read some of the MORE COHERENT POSTS from our dears Kate, Willo, Lovethemtigers, Savvy, Texxy, Piratexrory, me etc...to understand our deep love for the relationship we all feel strongly for!
And if you still dont understand or like it then or find our conversations stimulating, then feel free to find another forum on another site that will satisfy your needs and annoy them!
This POTC forum is a peaceful place where most of us have been coming for a long time to talk about our POTC obsessions!!!
