OMG!!! The Sparrabeth spell came over me on COTBP but i was a closet Sparrabether because I thought ppl would curse me out if I said Jack and Elizabeth belong together more than Will and Liz in my eyes!

But when I found out they were making POTC 2 and 3....I didn't think they'd explore the possiblity of Jack and Liz...until I saw the trailer for the very first time and saw that half of a milli second clip of Jack and Liz looking like they were about to kiss! THATS WAS WHEN I KNEW, THATS WAS WHEN I FELL....HARD! My breath literally escaped me and I completely freaked out! I watched the trailer like a MILLION TIMES cause of that one tiny little second in the trailer!

Then I saw the movie, saw all the flirtation, saw the almost kiss in the Curiosity scene and for like 20 mins my hope was gone! I figured T&T and Gore and Johnny and Keira all pulled a fast one on us by tempting us! and Theeeen THEY KISSED and it took me completely by SURPRISE cause i didnt expect it anymore and ask my friends who went with me I jump out of my seat and screamed "OMG!!!!" and I was done in! From that Moment on I LIVED, BREATHED, CRAVED SPARRABETH!! And my life has been one very bumpy, very crazy rollercoaster ride since then! lol

RORY!!! How Dare you say that!! You know u are sooo part of the CREW!!! Honestly i feel like you have been around here as long as we all have!! Ur Great Hun...We Love Ya!! Dont consider urself a newbee...u one of us! 🙂

OH AND SAVVVVVYYY!! I loved that scene!!! So heartbreaking! 🙁

Same here, diva. I fell in love with sparrabeth seeing the trailer. I didn't really think about them in COTBP. What crossed my mind was how they didn't get together. I thought to myself, "any other movie would have thrown those two together and created a wacky love triangle." There was no way a triangle could have really started off had it been just one movie.

And then I heard another one was coming and all the same people were in it with some newcomers! It was a great idea. I saw the teaser and then the trailer came out and I saw the two of them looking so deep into each others' eyes, so close, his hand gliding down her hair...I couldn't wait to see it.

DMC really held me. The whole "loathe to claim" conversation really got me thinking. "Huh, if they make it Elizabeth that he wants, this could get really interesting." I started predicting what would happen, and I thought it would end at Curiosity. That tasty almost-kiss was as far as we would get and it would be up to the third movie to potentially get a kiss. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED!

(Willo watching, engrossed in the movie)

Willo's thoughts: This movie is great. When's the third one come out? Did Jack just say abandon ship? Oh my gosh. This is serious.

(sees Jack and Elizabeth are alone)

Willo's thoughts: Damn right he's a good man. OH MY FREAKIN' GOODNESS! THEY'RE ACTUALLY KISSING. THIS IS SO HOT. THIS IS AMAZING. I LOVE THEM! MARRY HER, JACK! HOLY CRAP! WILL SEES ALL THIS.

(dies down)

Willo's thoughts: What's that sound? SHE'S ABANDONING HIM! No! Don't do it. Change your mind! Let him go so he can pick you up and carry you down the ship into the longboat. JACK'S DEAD!

Willo's Mom: When's the third one come out?

Willo: Not soon enough.

Willo's Brother: Did you just see what I saw?

Willo's thoughts: That and a whole lot more.

LMAO!!! Willo!!! 😆 OMG...my thoughts exactly...except for I actually voiced them!! lol...but to tell u the truth I wasnt the only one in the theater that cheered when Jack and Lizzie kissed! I Heard other people squeal and yell "THATS HOTT!!"

Well if the Kiss and Jack's death wasn't enough to make me want to die thinking about how long I'd have to wait to see what happens in POTC 3...Barbossa's surprise ending at the end just about had me ready to slit my wrists (well not really....but I wanted to die knowing i'd have to wait 1 whole year)...lol!

I swear when Barbossa came out I felt like the color on my face had been sucked dry and my jaw dropped!! And instantly DMC became an OBSESSION!!!! lol

Oh Willo that's hilarious... sigh--- reminiscing about what was literally the best movie experience of my life, and possibly one of the best moments... I'll never forget it...

I was late getting out of work, it was pouring rain, and I stopped to pick up dinner. so i was drenched and my eyeliner was running and i was shaking and someone behind me was whispering to whoever they were with that i was a drug addict with the shakes. haha. unrelated but funny. I was mildly excited-- I had plans to see it, I had loved the first one, but as a normal person, not a rabid fan. So me and my best friend were sitting there, laughing our heads off and then when Jack said "it points to the thing you want most in this world"... and we both looked at each other and swooned, thinking, awe, in another life, those two...

and then, like Willo, I thought the curiosity scene was as good as we were going to get and way more than I'd ever expected--- the hotness, angst, intensity of the last five minutes left me completely stunned, jaw hanging to the floor, wild with delight.

i seriously went back and saw it three more times opening weekend. i couldn't get enough. most intriguing couple of all, ALL times...

and then, the next day at work, I JOINED KMC! hehehe. 🙂

gee, i miss the days of constant willabeth/sparrabeth warring.

I joined KMC a few months later when Jack and Liz literally consumed my life and my friends just wouldnt hear me ramble about how they belong together anymore!!

I dreamt about them, i drew them, my mind was clouded with possible reunion scenes for AWE! I just couldn't take it anymore! I wasn't at all into the internet then so I didnt know about forums and suff! I especially had no idea that there were others as obsessed with Jack and Liz as me!

And then I found KMC and I still remeber the first thread I looked at! It was called "The Blooming Curiosity Scene" and thats when I realized that the idea of Jack and Lizzie was so much BIGGER than I thought it was!...Thats when I OFFICIALLY DISCOVERED the SPARRABETH SHIP and so I bought a ticket, jump on the ship and have been hanging on for dear life as our ship fought battle after battle!! lol,,,but the Important thing is that we r still HERE!!! 😍

this time last year we were getting anxious about all of the rumours we were hearing about AWE that were leaking...🙁

And we still had hope

Hm, I saw the DMC trailer and that moment of them looking like they were about to kiss was so interesting and exciting to me!!! Thats my simple story.

I don't remember my thoughts during the movie because I had already read the book and knew what was going to happen I guess!

Diva - I was the exact same way with the trailer - watching it over and over again, doing countless google searches trying to find out what Jack and Elizabeth were called - I can't remember the day I found out what Sparrabeth was, but it was simply amazing to me that other people found it so intriguing (and hott) the way I did just from that brief snippet on the trailer, lol!!

Thanks guys! I'm considering a sequel snippet - perhaps tomorrow tho, I'm exhausted tonight!

Yeah, *BIG SIGH*.....I'm still holding out for POTC 4. I can't believe all our fretting and wishing and hoping came down to this. Till today, I still ask myself why oh why must TnT do this? My only answer is that TnT didn't expect Johnny and Keira could have so much chemistry which created fanatical Sparrabethers out of normally-sane folks.
