6 or 7 times??? Aelizabeth I think u are definately giving them the benifit of the doubt...lol!! Will would only see Elizabeth about 3 or 4 more times, maybe 5 if they get lucky! People back in the day only had a life span of 50 years (perhaps 60 if u were wealthy and took good care of yourself...50 is still to generous!)
I guess i was sooo angry that Sparrabeth didnt end together at the end of the trilogy that i didnt stop to think that the movie was actually left open to interpretation! At the end i was glad of it because in truth Jack and Lizzie we alive in the end and Will, well he was half dead really! He wasnt a part of the real world anymore! So the fact that Jack and Liz were alive and part of the same world (Pirate World) the chances of them reuniting are great and that did comfort me a bit! Bc No matter how much Liz might have claimed to love Will, deep down inside I know that she gave a part of her heart to Jack when she kissed him! It stopped being about lust then, it became something greater! Bc right b4 the kiss Liz was filled with admiration and defeat..it was clear as day in her eyes!!

So the fact that they left it open ended was a big relief (well now upon hours and hours of breaking my head over it bc it wasn't a relief when i 1st watched the movie) because it could have been worse! They could have made it a definate Willabeth ending and that would have been murder!
The fact that Liz had a kid (whom ironically they choose to dress in fashions inspired by Jack) doesnt bother me all that much either bc Liz and Will's situation is just plain F**Ked Up!!! Even if the Kid was Will's, upon seeing him Will would want his son to have a life that he obviously cant give him! A father figure! In that sense I think Will would release Liz and make it ok for her to find a man to love and care for them...whether that man be Jack or not!
It's funny bc the other day while I was at a family party my best friends brother got really drunk and he was slurring and imitating Jack Sparrow!! It was the most hilarious thing ever...anyway the reason why I'm telling you all this is bc my besties brother recently broke up with a very pretty girl and she was so kind and we all really liked her for him and his imitatation of Jack he said something that made me think!:
So he starts drunkenly talking about this girl he just dumped and then i asked him "Do You love her?" and that was all I needed to ask before he started relenting the truth to us. He said "I do love her! I love her with all my heart! But I'm terrified of her!" Obviously we all asked "why?" and he continued "Because she has it! She has what it takes to make me fall completely in love and I'm to young, I dont want to be attached! she scares me!"
And as he is saying this I could only think about the scene is Davy's Locker and every Sparrabeth scene after and how Jack seemed kind of wary of her. at 1st i thought Of course he is alarmed by her she killed him! but then i got to thinking...If I were in Jack's shoes and if I didn't have feelings for Liz, I'd hate her! I wouldn't stand her! I'd do everything possible to get her away from my life! Yet Jack tolerates her, in fact he doesn't even seem to hate her, in fact he makes her Pirate King, saves her and is even somewhat tender with her! Then my besties brothers' words hit me! Jack of course is scared of Lizzie but not bc he is afraid she is gonna pop a cap in his back at any moment but bc "She has it! She has what it takes to make Jack fall completely in Love and he is TERRIFIED of that!"
I know we have talked about Jack meeting his match in Elizabeth and we have more than likely brushed upon this particular topic but when my besties brother was saying all of this it was almost like hearing Jack saying those exact words! It was like I needed to hear it come from a real voice instead of just reading it and trying to imagine him saying it you know? I almost cried on the spot!

gray clouds touched with a tint of peachy colored light and background....jack sailing with his crew to find their way to rule the seven seas...suddenly, a thunderstorm appears! the crew find themselves facing another kracken! jack,cursing under his breath says "damn! the thing we killed before must have been a mother kracken... if theres one, theres probably gonna be a few more so we better be ready"....he shouts "pull the sails and make sure ye dont get damn killed by that...... thing!" but his crew doesnt need to be told, as he is shouting they are already halfway done, in fear that if they dont hurry and get a gun they might get killed because they have been through it before...... and only a few had survived. what if they lost even more now? they thought. but while they are sitting around wondering, jack pulls out an old rusty sword and prepares to strike the raging beast. he crawls up the crows nest getting ready to dive and slash when he gets there,but he also knows he could get killed by lightning first.when he gets there he jumps.......and misses. cursing jack sails into the water like a torpedo and since the thrashing beast is rocking back and forth and spinning he creates a whirlpool! will jack survive? send me a private message to let me know if you want to find out more anyone

There are some guys out there that really are terrified of opening up and pouring out their soul to the woman they love. The good news for them is once they do, though, it's all happy trails after that for the most part. I think by the end of AWE, Jack has at least come to terms with the fact that he's in love and maybe, just maybe, is on his way to see a certain someone.
I'm still wondering why the writers didn't think about the legality of it. I mean, sure, in a movie, it looks good. But if you think about it...that wedding was totally not valid. Which is, of course, good for us! 😄

Oh my gosh! A few days ago, someone I know said, "You can never watch genius enough. That's how you know it's genius." (We were watching some piano player.) And guess what flew into my mind? The Sparrabeth Kiss. Since I never get tired of watching it, it's totally obvious that it's pure genius. Not that there was every any question about that.

Hey all....I'm hoping there won't be a POTC4 because it will ruin my imagination as to what I think the ending of AWE is really all about and what happens during those 10 years...I know Willo...you think the kid is Will..and so does the general public...and it probably is...but in my interpretation...the kid is Jack's. And that's what I'm sticking too...it's the only way I can continue to keep the trilogy close to my heart...it's the only way I can sum up everything that went on.

This is my favorite one...i guess because i put so much work into it. This one and Better as a Memory took me the longest to make. Jack and Elizabeth are alike, in everything they do, it's as if they can read each other's minds. They have a bond between them. It's really not so much a story as it just reflects the trilogy..and how "At World's End" will never be enough...because it left so many plot holes and ignored Sparrabeth! But despite T and T and Gore's efforts...Sparrabeth came out loud and clear once you really examine AWE.

Ooh, I can't access youtube from work, but it's something fun to do when I get home. Tigers, I love your points of view. If we were in another universe, you would have written POTC yourself and Will never would have existed, which would have been interesting. Or even if he were a bit player. Oh! You know what should have happened? He should have been a kid. That would justify Liz's protectiveness of him. That might have changed the plots of DMC and AWE and everyone could have their happy ending, except Beckett who would still be blown away like he was in AWE, but I digress.
It's not that I don't WANT the kid to be Jack's. Based on the movie I see, and based on the fact I would rather have a willabeth ending than an ending where no one on earth could possibly be happy with the results [cough, AWE, cough], the kid is the product of Liz and Will's most decidedly disappointing sex. I'm just not a fan of infidelity. That's why I did something interesting with the end of my fic. (Yeah, I'm hinting everyone here should read the last chapter. What?) But I will say the scene at the end of the credits is very open-ended, almost to the point that I wonder why it's even in at all. "Will comes back after 10 years." Well, duh! What information are we getting? That they have a kid and Liz lost all her fashion sense? Is that it? Well, yeah. So I'm very open to the kid being Jack's, because that would be a huge twist, in which case the end scene should have been longer. But it's so vague! Does Will even know there is a kid at all? Is Liz still the Pirate King? Does the green flash have any significance other than what we learned about it? Damn. I'm getting overly analytical. Anyone want to clear my mind for me?
