Hello everyone...I don't want this thread to die...so I'm keeping it alive...Please if you haven't already..watch the video Charmgirl made about Titanic/Pirates of the Caribbean..it's all clips of Pirates (no Titanic)...it's set to the theme music and it's a well made video...one of the best i've seen.....and it's so true to Sparrabeth...
I've been addicted to youtube again lately and have discovered some great Sparrabeth vids that have been on there for awhile but never watched themm...and man on man what have I been missing out on...here's one that is awesome and it made me want to cry...catches the heartbreak that is Jack and Elizabeth..for us Sparrabethers...

I just love how Jack and Liz makes me feel.....its like when u start to like a guy and u get all nervous and u get butterflies in ur tummy when he's around and u feel all giddy inside....thats how they make me feel! They have such a good thing going....Jack and Liz are just so filled with emotion and that is what drives ppl.....they are amazing together! and that is why they have so much great footage together!

Exactly....you have the essensce of what Jack and Liz make us feel...it is like having a new guy you like, and you get all exicted and nervous when he walks into a room...and the butterflies...and I think that's how I imagine Liz must feel when she sees Jack...or Jack sees her....that's why they have us sitting on the edge of our seats as each scene with them unfolds and then you are wondering..okay what's going to happen next...I get totally excited when Liz and Jack are in a scene together..just waiting for that unexpected moment..that glance...that touch...it was that way for me in the first POTC even though it was a Will/Liz ending..in my heart and in my mind I thought it was Jack and LIz...I use to have fantasies and make up scenes in my head after COTBP about what could have been..when I would read romance novels I would read it..but pretend they were Jack and Liz...that's why when DMC came out...I just couldn't beleive that all the things I felt and fantasized about were coming true on screen...and now it's worse than ever....
Omg i know when i first say COTBP i was like awwww liz and will are cute and i was diggin the movie....but then the island scene came and i was like, "oh wait a minute, Jack and Liz, i like them better!" and then i was somewhat intriqued with Jack and Liz and when the movie was over....i was left with the Jack and Lizzie what if? u know...then DMC came out and i was loving the more obvious chemistry this time around...and then that kiss! that kiss somehow full filled my most deepest desires! That's how powerful that kiss was! It was amazing!!! Then I WAS HOOKED on Jack and Lizzie!
You know...I was thinking....a lot of the obsession for me is because it's unfinished business....we know something more is coming...if it had ended with DMC I doubt we would still be here today intrigued by it all..it's the fact that its unfinished...a cliff hanger of sorts...and we are all tied up in knots wondering what is going to happen...knowing what we beleive and want to happen...but because it's Disney and they keep refereing to it as the Captain and the star-crossed "LOVERS" will and elizabeth....I hate when I read about it like that....Will and Liz are not lovers, dangit...there wedding was interrupted because Fate Intervened and stopped Liz from marrying the wrong man....
too me it seems like that Romeo and Juliet Star-Crossed Lovers stuff describes Jack and Lizzie more than it does Lizzie and Will....because Jack and Lizzie are the ones with the Forbidden Love that Can never be! Will already had his chance with Lizzie but he wasnt interesting enough to keep her, because she wondered off to be with a real MAN and Fate did INTERVENE!
and ur right lovethemtigers we are here cause there is still one more POTC to come....and the cliffhanger is the main reason for our obsession, but that doesnt mean that if DMC had been the last POTC Jack and Lizzie wouldn't have been HOT! they still would be, and if that were the case then there would be an outrage and a demand to have a 3rd movie 😄!
augh I so agree!! and that thing lovethemtigers said? I do that ALL THE TIME.I read novels and pretend the characters are Jack and Lizzie...and after COTBP I just kept day dreaming about the scene they walked the plank together...and then the island, and then DMC I was like "so i'm not deluded? so JE is something that was THERE and wasn't a creation of my mind? did other ppl see it as well? is that why it's in DMC?
I repeat! we NEED the movie NOW!!!! we WANT another movie!!!
