Just because it's in a ring doesn't mean that Superman can't throw a punch at speeds that Thor has never shown the ability to comprehend. Same with the Surfer or Captain Marvel.

Also, it's because Captain Marvel is endowed with magical strength, Superman is slightly more vulnerable toa magical being than to a being endowed with gifts from some other source.

The Magic ability is NOT negated because it is a PASSIVE ability just like healing factor and spidersense.

I don't think Thor would do well because his specialty is in using Mjolnir. While he is still formidable without it, he's also not going to be at his best whereas the other guys only fight with their fists.

I'm not saying that Thor is weak without Mjolnir. Not at all, he's still a beast.

He just can't keep up with the others in the speed department. Fists can't hit what your eyes can't see, again. Same story.

A better lightweight division would have been:
(No weapons, powers,shields, or suits. Just standard boxing trunks and gloves).

1. Captain America
2. Daredevil
3. Black Panther
4. Batman
5. Green Arrow
6. GL Hal (no ring)
7. Arsenal
8. Cyclops
9. Iron Fist
10. Extremis Tony Stark
11. Wolverine
12. Nick Fury

Yea i figured that people would say that, but i said no powers. So he can't use his chee/ iron fist to hit someone. Only is normal strength, speed, reflexes etc... Remember there are gloves on.

Wait...he can't use the Iron Fist move. That, I figured, was implied.

But you're also saying that he can't amp himself with Chi? That's not really a power. It's a skill. 😬.

Well thats the only way the others can compete wit him in a boxing match. I think he already has enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, etc... without amping himself up anyway. If not then he is allowed to increase his attributes with chee, but no iron fist.

He has nearly peak-human attributes without amping with Chi. I suppose it WOULD be unfair to allow him to amp. He jumps up to spider-man like speed with Amping. 😬.

Yea that should be enough with his skills.

Iron Fist isn't in this thread, he was proposing a hypothetical line up.

Also, it's because Iron Fist amping = superhuman, Spiderman level.

Batman amping = peak human Captain America, tops.

Also, Surfer was not specifically barred from amping. He still gets some damn fine wins.

I know Fist isnt in the thread. I was also making a hypothetical statement kiiinda, but it did seem like the opposite.

Fist amping is slightly below Spiderman level. I wouldnt say it was = to Spiderman level.

Batman using his chi is above Cap level however. The guy has dont some crazy thngs with his matial arts.

Fist amping is damn near Spiderman, I wouldn't hesitate to put their speed on a level playing field.

Also, What's batman done with Chi? Kicked down a tree? 🙄

Also, why haven't we seen chi displays in the last hundred comics he's been in? 😬.

I personally dont think Fist amping his speed is as close to Spidermans as you think. Then again thats my opinion.

You you have the last 100 comics that Batman has appeared in? I sure dont, but ill say that he doesnt have to use ony strenth in order to be using his chi. He can use it in the swift execution of his moves and his awareness.

I'd have to go with Superman or over Captain Marvel... especially since his whole recent (stronger smarter) thing. And If you mean Billy Batson being captain marvel enpowered by Shazam... he's technically the wizard now... and not captain marvel.. right?

I'd agree that Namor beats Iron Man if its a pure fist fight.

And I'd also say that it would be damn hard for anyone to hurt luke considering his skin can not be cut by many things... guys durable like steel...
