Anyone read this info about Starro possibly in ithttp://comicbook.com/blog/2013/04/17/is-starro-in-the-man-of-steel-trailer/
I read that this is a prison spaceship.
There is no phantom zone. Im trying to find the link but i read yesterday that there was a scene of Jor-el flying his air craft that resembled like an insect with rodent's face.
I like that they're are using Batman Begins writer and not TDK writer. Reason is TDK was successful because Begins was successful, and I honestly believe Begins had better screenplay. Shoot me down for that, I don't care.
Also, Zack Snyder can do far more than Nolan per set and CGI graphics..and he's damn well with directing and picking actor/actresses as we've seen in the past and as we're seeing now. Nolan must have known what would be better for DC.

I mean it made a big difference.
The real reason was because Batman had become a big icon, in part because of Begins. Another more prominent reason than Begins was the scale of TDK, which Begins also contributed to. Also there was the Joker factor, which had a lot more going on and started that epicness, that imo TDKR had more of yet it still didn't emulate the sucess of TDK.
Then there's the fact that TDK would not have been there without Begins, and TDKR was far larger in scope and scale and in events than TDK and Begins, with the pre-establishment of two films under its belt as opposed to 0, and yet Begins ties up better against TDKR than TDK. Goyer, imo, was a stronger screenwriter than his successor.

I still worry about Goyer, tbh.
I think that for Superman the greatest choice would have been Tony Gilroy but he doesn't do comic book movies. If he did, that would be epic. But Goyer is the best screenwriter I have seen for comic book films.
By a flarking mile.
I have no worries.

I worry about his ability to do a big budget superhero movie for someone like Superman. I don't want to feel about MOS the way I felt about the Batman trilogy.
You want, and imo Zack Snyder has a better grasp of social dynamics in the Superman area, ergo high sci fi reactions with people. Zack Snyder is more oriented with strong personalities than Nolan, ergo 300 and Sucker Punch. Watchmen if you're perceptive enough had very strong, independent personalities. More so than the characters in Nolan's stories. Snyder is good with upfront, courageous, even messianic personas. I also believe Zack Snyder's characters are more 'hip' than Nolan's. Outgoing, as in socially adept and people I'd want to hang around.
That will have a big influence on Goyer's writings.
