He didn't find Surfer to be much of a threat in their x-over.
And Eradicator is nearly the same character as Surfer + add Supergirl, Steel, and Superboy. He had an easy time with them all at once.

On top of that what is Runner going to do? Even if he breaks a part of borg they guy can reconfigure indefinitely into more powerful forms. The guy has all sort of weaponry and scanning available to him.
Think about it. He's part kryptonian which already makes him fast, and on top of that he's tech more advanced than the Eradicators was. The Eradicator has crossed the universe in record speeds himself.

I've read Eradicator's appearances from Reign of the Supermen up to Majestic appearing in DC. He's never done anything close to what the Surfer has done.
Also, I don't expect to be treated respectfully from Superman fanboys. You, and every one of them seem to have a very twisted version of just about every comic they read.

All I've said from the beginning is that if Borg fights intelligently he can win.
Seeing Borgs powerset (which IMO is FAR above Superman's) it's completely possible. The guy is unkillable, and pretty much indestructable.
