Yes exactly 🙂 but we all know that the EITC will take over. And the era of piracy will definitely end. So yes Jack has to find a new place or he will get killed with the rest of the pirates, and I don't think Jack wants to die. Either way, piracy will end but the EITC will remain and its going to need a leader after Becket dies.
I'm thinking he will kill him, probably in self defense. There are rumours and speculations going around so I believe this will happen. He seems to be Jack's # 1 enemy. About Jack taking over EITC its mt own speculation. I haven't heard anyone suggesting it. And it seems to make perfect sense with Jack finding a place in the new world in order to survive the end of piracy. Amber I'll be back later, I have to step out for a while 😉

The piracy coming to an end is a fact, Pirates weren't good people back in the days. They were evil and mean and did a lot of bad things. Jack never wanted to become a pirate, he was technically dragged to it. He worked for the EITC before becoming a pirate. He was an honest sailor, a good man, and with a job. He transported slaves, that was his job in the EITC. Slavery was common at that time, everyone approved it. But IMO Jack never saw it as a good thing. That was why he revealed against the company, and their government and became a pirate. He saw slavery as an injustice, which it is now days. He became a rebel, he though he was doing the right, which he was. But in that time everyone saw it as a bad thing.
I completely agree Kate. Were Pirates really bad people? I have to disagree with that a little. I think that's the overall message of the movie. What exactly is a pirate? Is it their actions, or the way that civilization defines a pirate. T+T have stated that in their films, they like to bring up the theme of questioning authority, and I think that's what pirates does. It's not so much that Pirates are evil men, but rather that there are evil men in the so called "good side". Men like Beckett ruled the land, and since they had the power they declared that Pirates were bad men--not so much for the deeds they did, but because some men, like Jack stood in the way of "progress" or what the ETTC wanted to accomplish--domination of the trade routes. Sorry, I'll get off my soap box.
And I'll make another argument for argument's sake. You have to credit Will for Jack's escape in some small part. He creates the distraction which allows for him to escape. He also, in a way, gives Jack the motivation to escape. He doesn't seem to keen on escaping until Will appears with his news. Also, if you look at the way the scenes are cut together, you'll see that it travels back and forth between Will and Jack, showing how when they work together, they can save each other's lives. In that way, it's very similar to the scene at the end of CotBP. They're in sync with one another's thinking, even though they're not technically together.
Ok, rant over.
