Starhawk, I agree with you in principal. There are many aspects of legal minutia that it is unreasonable to expect people to know. However, to use that as an argument for why you should not explain things to the best of your ability is beyond my comprehension.

In my opinion, I don't think there is a level on who is worse.
Ending a life is a pretty serious thing, but a child who undergoes such a terrible experience will basically have that for the rest of their life. I know a few people who'd rather be dead then live with all the problems they have from similar issues that has happened to them.
I think none is worse than the other. They're both disgusting.
