Well you have the right to your own opinion. I have no problem with that. Just as I have the right to mine.
Having an opinion is fine, like @ssholes, everyone has one and things everyone else's stinks; that isn't the issue. What is, is your making of claims and passing them as fact without posting a shred of proof; you've done this across the threads.

Again, check the drop out rates if you think it's so easy.
I am not saying it is easy. I am saying that I, working on a degree, see lots of ****ing idiots as my classmates and also as people that got degrees already. There are of course also differences in the career you are trying to pursue.
Anyways, you are not necessarily portraying the most sophisticated persona on KMC and that you might or might not study law does not really change that.

Again, check the drop out rates if you think it's so easy.

Marxism implies left wing ideology. The death penalty has traditional been considered a right wing issue. You have a real inferiority complex when it comes to educated people. Getting a degree is far from easy, perhaps you should check the first year drop out rates for colleges and universities in Canada.
Pittman, if your so convinced I am going to fail in my efforts, then you should have nothing to worry about.
I wasn't talking about the death penalty, I was talking about you thinking you're somehow better than other people here, because, of your law student status.
No I do not have an inferiority complex, because I am not inferior to you. I myself am also educated. I do not regard you to be any more educated than me, whatsoever.
Concerning the drop out rates, that regards motivation not intelligence. With the right amount of time spent on work a degree can be easy.

That is simply not true, if that was the case then explain to me why some people in my classes have to study till they drop in order to pass and some people don't study and breeze through exams without a care in the world? Effort isn't everything.

This is a personal little pet peeve of mine. Marxism is a theory of economy and state control, it says NOTHING about the behaviour of the state once it has that control.
Doing what is best for the people against their will is a VERY Marxist idea, even if you disagree with him on issues of policy. Hence why I called you a pinko in the other thread.
Do you really feel that political ideologies are best explained in a right/left spectrum?

Compared to, say, 50+ years ago, universities have become diploma mills. Drop out rates aside, the fact that so many more people attend university and that some form of post secondary is necessary for more jobs has generally pushed the quality of education down. Many of my profs have complained outside of class about students, especially in the past 10ish years, though there has been a steady decline.
There is a very apparent race to the bottom in education. It is much more pronounced in the primary and secondary grades, but it is contagious.
And honestly man, if you think that having an education gives you any right to talk down to people, I hope you never need a plumber, or an electrician. I hope your car never breaks down or that you never get to appreciate a piece of art or literature.
People have specialties and interests. People have degrees of knowledge and experience. The fact that yours are best suited for an educational establishment and others for an apprentinship or are even best shaped outside of any formalized institutional system is irrelevant. I've been told off by enough 8 year olds to know that my logic is not infallable. You may be better served to learn this, however, as with most people, it will probably have to be trial by fire.
