I don't think there's a wedding band on Bootstrap's finger, so I wonder if that is his dad's wedding ring, for any reason. Boostrap seemed to not want his family to be associated with pirates, so do you think he sent his wedding ring home in addition to the medallion?

I wonder if he was wearing it in COTBP as well, and yes it is a man's ring. That is really interesting. I'm going to watch COTB to see if he has the ring as well. Now I'm wondering humm. 😕 Interesting.

Maybe his mom gave it to him before she died, wanting him to use it for his own wedding band. Although on his wedding day, he shouldn't technically have the ring on his person. The man's ring is usually given to the maid of honor, but I don't think Liz and Will have any friends.

at least no girl friends... but i like the idea of his mom givin' it to him maybe it will be of importance with bootsrap in AWE

Has there always been a ring, or is it new? Jack wears a lot of rings and a gold ring doesn't mean a wedding ring. Plus, let's say our dreams come true and Jack and Liz actually marry. That's a pretty big twist. I can't see them putting a hint into the teaser poster.

I can but who knows? You know what's interesting besides of the supposed wedding band. The red color on the background is commonly used in Oriental weddings. Why put a red silky red cloth on the background? humm.

red is signifying the blood to be repaid to Tia on the part of Jones. Or the blood Elizabeth will spill when her dad dies. Or the lips Jack will kiss when he wins the lady. Or the flamenco dress Gibbs wears in his escape effort. Or the color of Will's face when his pants fall down.

Eh, I heard a rather disappointing rumor, and I hope it's not true, even though I'm rather sure W/E end up together. I don't know if I saw it on here before or not, but supposedly, Barbossa marries Will and Elizabeth a short while before Will stabs the heart. From what I understand, it's a bit of a quickie ceremony (perhaps Barbossa doesn't quite tell them what's happening?), so Will and Elizabeth are married, and Jack is upset.

I can tell you that if that is really how it is, I'll be annoyed, because that just sounds retarded.
