I think he shouldn't obey the fans though... that's a ba staring point for a filmmaker. He should just undergo the critique.

And if he were listenning to the fans before he made Jar Jar...then they wouldn't really know about him...so they would have nothing to complain about...

OK, maybe not all the things, that fans demand, but the ones they hate the most.

And I actually knew some people who thought Jar-Jar was actually funny, and thought he was the best part of TPM 😬

Well, Lucas made a lot of money, he can take the critique.

In my opinion he doesn't give a sh_t what the fans think, allot of his things in the movie, vore just made to make money.

He does care I think. Why else do you think he hired a co-writer for AOTC (not that that helped 😉 )or remove JarJar almost completely in EPII and III?

Because Jar-Jar had fulfilled his job of annoying us enough in TPM?

You're right of the annoying bit. But I don't think LUcas found JarJar annoying when he made TPM.
