Yeah, totally good for you. Good thing me and some of my homo sapiens buddies decided that (since we are humans) we want the best for humans and we also decided that we could punish and stop people that try to stuff us into a blue whale's colon. Which to me is good.
You know what is also good to me? Protecting the environment to suit us (humans). I like that. Cause I am an egoistical bastard. The environment as such does not matter to me much.

protecting the many delicate balances of nature does suit us. im not one of those "dont litter so my back yard looks clean" environmentalists. besides, animals tend to utilise litter. im more concerned about over-purging of natural resources and damaging large ecosystems.
i guess if you're one of those "if its not a danger in my lifetime, it doesnt matter" kinda people (republicans) then fine.

I agree with you we need reasonable protection (for us) against environmental dangers. Bu it goes too far in some aspects now (the little pointless ones) and maybe not far enough on th bigger ones. We need to scientifically decide how we want our eco system and what we want to do for it. I don't see a problem with trying to master the earths eco system. We should just try not to **** ourselves.
