Would something like seduction work off of Persuade?

That has got to be one of the funniest questions asked in Matrix...

Gosh darn, we normally give it its own skill, but for Matrix purposes I guess persuade will have to do...

Lana- if your next action is to move in, then sure... except that the area nearest the helicopter is virtually clear ground. The sneak roll is extremely hard.

Hmmmm. Would be ideal to wait for distractiony stuff then, I'd think.

Sirin will step forwards in a seductive manner, towards whoever seems to be the leading guard here...

"Hey, I think if you let us continue our...examination..." she acts as if she's looking him over "...and perhaps we can talk about raising your scores...in private?" She gets relatively close.

(Do they have guns drawn on us, btw?)

(incidentally, seducing the GM allows you to pass almost ANY roll)

No, they haven't drawn guns yet.

"Uhhh..." says the guard. You've got his attention, but this would have worked WAY better if you had gone in alone. The crowd makes it hard.

"Do you think you can do that for me?" Sirin asks again, continuing her efforts.

"I... err..." says the guard. He makes a decision. He tells his deputy to take care of the rest of you, whilst he takes down some of your details to find out what is going on.

Okay, so he's taking me aside to ask me about who we are, gotcha.

"We're working for the City," Sirin says. "This place has been scheduled for an examination and testing of security forces on the grounds after the terrorist attack two months ago, due to the helicopter involved in said attack. Didn't get the memo, sweetie?"

(Sirin is referring to the whole 'saving Morpheus' deal and helicopter going 'splodey, if that's possible...if not, I'd like to change that)

Four months ago then, but it's fine.

"Well, no" he says, "but that was a tactical support copter. As in armed? These ones just get you from A to B."

What are the rest of you doing?

"I know what kind it was, but I'm just the messenger," Sirin says. "Someone up top is worried that it might become a trend, ramming helicopters into buildings."

Are we being kept under guard for the moment or are we allowed to somehow maneuver ourselves towards the helicopters?

Plenty of guards with you, just not sure what is going on.
