Ok, so, what have we got right now?
Mors and Heph have just hauled the rope up to the top of the clock tower and need to keep doping stuff pretty quick.
San is mid-way through her attempt to escape the Agent. Others in that room need to think of ways past the Agent blocking their aisle.
Helios is about-turning deep back the way you came but has no definitve objevtive yet- he is, though, currently free of prusuit, on the old fashioned "I don't need to be faster than the Agent, just faster than the slowest member of my team" approach.. Burn, Balder, Hawk and co actually have not made an action since we came out of combat time yet; they need to move on from the Balcony.
Meanwhile, Melis has come back to the North end of the N/S corridor, free from pursuit right now.
Barb just took another shot and gets a hit- bad guy downed! Dallas has just fired again as well, and destroyed the last Osprey as it tried to get away.
"Thank God for Dallas," Klez says. "I knew this wasn't a random crazy charge down the stairs..."
Klez will deposit Melkor and grab one of the SAMs.
"Brought him back alive, didn't I? Now, let's see how Agents can handle rockets..."
He puts the Agents in the sights and prepares to fire...
(Can powers be used with the SAMs? Maybe an EE tap?)
Nope, no popwers with the SAM shot, just a straight die roll. However, having a large rocket coming at him certainly puts a crimp in the approaching Agent's day. You see his body blown upwards by the blast that shatters step 4, though it is not clear if it was a kill or not.
"I'm sorry, Cloud," says Marduk, who has managed to pick his way around the mountainside what with the... distractions outside, "but turning around now would be certain death. We need to go, now."
"They'll be alright," says Dallas. "If they're in trouble it's their own fault for not following me. What do I keep telling you guys? You moan and you panic but it all just comes down to this- stick with Dallas and everything will be ok!"
---
Don't worry about getting those Agents to follow- why wouldn't they follow?
I think if Ares, Mirage and Fire don't have a solid plan soon, it will simply be Agent combat.
"Down the mountain!" says Dallas. "Now the planes are gone, and it looks like the others have drawn away those goons, we can just bug out of here. Load up some gear for the others, we'll meet them somewhere out there. Make it quick; I think that Agent I shoved down the mountainside has climbed back up..."
