USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 SECOND ASSIGNMENT- 'The Monastery'

Melis tries not to focus on the disturbingly high threat level in the room and tries to focus on her leap towards the door.

You can't leap to the door from here; it's a long way across the room and all the Agents can see you heading for it.

Can I beat them there?

Considering some are in front of you, no. You very much needed to not get their attention.

In that case, I shall mind-control Burn vis a vis Cloud's suggestion. By grenading the gap, he 'discourages' the Agent from following through immediately, and gets past. Burn, you are now on a straight run back to the Clock Tower. Trouble is, you are still being chased!

Balder and co are hanging around the bottom of the Tower. Mors, this is your cue to action!

Fire, San and Azrael- you appear to be heading upwards, in a sloped corridor. Two Agents have ended up in pursuit; one favour Melis has done you is to lower your pursuers.

Heph- time's up. You have tp move on, and we'll have to hope Ariadne is in a position to tell people where to go. You get moving.

The roof is not entirely sealed up top, and along the route you are taking you are actually into the upper rafters. Most of the time, there is some form of floor between you and the areas you wre just running by below, but you are acutely aware that you are only feet away, vertically, from Agents below. Furthermore, you seem to be heading back east, back towards the Meeting roon., Except that was an open area and you don't think you will get straight ovet that- nonetheless, you are heading back to the heart of the Monastery!

Mirage is still by that side door. Melis needs to think of a clever idea. One compensation, though, is that she can see Ares, and vice versa. Ares, your life is getting worse. One of the Agents that was earlier chasing you and San has nearly reached you now as well.

Did I miss anyone inside?

Azrael opens his phone and asks for directions once they reach the end of the corridor.

Of course, he keeps running.

Ares keeps running and puts off bursts at the Agent that is closing on him (tap 10B) while trying to keep up with the others.

I miss back when you could shoot at an Agent enough to force it to lose it's turn entirely...that could very much come in handy here, for Burn's escape attempt.

Aaaand San's still running.

Mors gets Balder's attention by loudly whispering 'Psst!' until Balder looks up.

"The lever, quick!" Mors says.

Burn, don't lead him in here. That would ruin our escape. You have to lose him. Use grenades, use anything.

What if I pulled a Kuylen?
Would an EE tap be enough for me to toss a grenade at an Agent, adn then shoot it in Midair, so it blows up in his face, before he can grab it and pitch it back?

I wish I was Neo right now...

Could Melis perhaps fake the Agents out? Make it seem like she's going to charge straight into one of the Agents blocking my exit, but in actuality jam my staff down and flip over him and past them?

Ares, you cannot reasonably fire behind you in any sustained way AND run properly at the same time.

Melis- they're going to block your exit.

People should keep track of who is on the phone...

Heph- no, not the library... but right over the area where all the Monks are... and you rather suspects, some of the Agents. You'll be going back past east of where you all started, to unknown territory.

Burn, you'd have to stop to do it, so the net gain would not be significant. You are just about to enter the N/S corrdior.

Ok well, can I run and shoot at the same time?
Because I want to tap EVERYTHING I have out, (Swap CC for Sts, so I have EE, LR, StS and 10b) for one Massive attack on the agent., and then run into the N/s corridor, block the door, then head for the clock tower...

Block the door with what?

What's tapping everything going to do, Burn? Kill him? If 10B takes away an Agent's turn, it's very unlikely that adding EE and StS and LR will be a waste...
