If you believe guns etc are part of the hip hop culture, you don't know what the hip hop culture is. You haven't done your homework, you see. Hip hop wasn't about all that when it was born, so to act as if it's an inherent part of hip hop is really naive of you.

Nobody killing or committing crimes mirrors genuine hip hop culture, because that's not what hip hop is about. That's like saying people who are satanists are mirroring rock and roll culture. Now, I didn't want to reply to you, since you won't reply back, but that's some food for thought.

I know it probably can't compete with your Oxford Concise Generalisations Compilation, but I'll give it my all.

Try to follow. You said, Is it me, or 'x'?

Two options. Firstly, it is you. Secondly, it is x.

My answer: it is you.

Simple. (Also like you)

Cant be bothered with this a simple yes or no would have sufficed.
My god; if I tried to cut through you with a diamond blade, it would shatter.

This is widely known.

Whole other point.

Point taken. let me rephrase.

IT is not a majority of black people, but a majority of young black males in certain age group which conform to the mainstream hip-hop culture.

That may be true- I am unaware. It seems to make claims that can't really be verified for certain.

I hope you will now agree the original point with which you agreed was faulty.

Hey dont give me that crap you. Go and look at the bloody PIS and SvFL thread every man and his dog knows that PIS and SvFl are similar but you were still arguing. GO AWAY.

Yes. I was too quick to reply.

no, naive is when you give this history lesson in spite of fact: the "hip hop culture" as you see it is irrelevant, since over here, where it matters, it centers on violence and materialism. just because it originated as an art form, and just because there are some who choose to preserve it as an art form, doesnt change the fact of the majority and images promoted by vacom and major record lables.

What's your point? That there are idiots associated with hip hop? There's idiots associated with everything, including this thread.

i agree. when rap/hip hop was introduced, it was pretty much the rapper saying "i rhyme this good, i rhyme this good, your rhymes are whack." nowadays, its not the same. there are a few good rappers out there like eminem, jay z, naz and dmx, but for the most part hip hop and rap is not the same. ever since gangsta rap appeared on the scene, some people view rappers as gun toting felons. this is so far from the truth its pathetic. they use tupac and biggie smalls to prove their point. a couple of bad apples ruin it for all.

That's not hip hop culture, that's a culture that has been attached to modern day "hip hop" and hip hop therefore suffers guilt by association. Just like satanism and metal.

No, that's Busta Rhymes. What's your point? Do you even have one? Do you have any idea how old that is? Busta Rhymes is far from racist.

The topic is meant to be fat people. Why is it now about "hip-hop culture"?

I'll clarify my earlier comment, since it probably flew right by you. You're denser than a log. A particularly dense log. With learning difficulties.

So...we went from fat people...to phat people...hahahahahahahahah, get it? Cause that's what blacks say, hahahaha, phat...haha.

every man and his dog? all dogs care about is licking their balls.

wrong, since satanism was never mainstream within the genre. gangstas/violence/drugs in hip hop, however, ARE. and sure, its the fault of viacom and record labels, as i said. this culture which spring from a simple art form is a stain on that art form, but also a stain on humanity. wanna call it 'gangsta rap'? fine, although such a distinction is trivial, since it the majority of what is hip hop. i really dont give a shit if that offends a couple of street corner freestylists because frankly they dont matter. maybe we should call them "original hip hop" because imho only the minority of a genre should be made to have the tag on label.
