Common sense? Please do elaborate on that. I am curious.

The matter of the fact is, a lot of 'common sense'' bullshit is not actually that. It is a myth believed by a lot of people then passed on like a common sense.
Perfect example being Mother teresa and her ''holyness'' and the ideas on ''rape''.
Eitherway...

Young black males are bombarded with bullshit they SHOULD do and the way they SHOULD behaive even if they don't want to do so.
It is a cultural backlash of the consumerist culture.

There are plenty of those people who have testified to the fact that if they do not feel like doing something they are dictated to by the media and certain peers, they are often accused of acting ''white'' (whatever that means).

This is not a ''selected few'' acting that way - it is a whole subculture of people.

People who DO NOT fit that profile are those who have resisted it, because they had the means to do so.

I am not claiming there is a ''one-fit-all'' theory - but when a trend begins to happen, one should not ignore it for a politically correct ''common sese'' excuse.

I would submit the following as common sense.

Do you feel, that of the world's population of black people, at least 50 percent plus one person eat fried chicken prodigiously, listen to hip-hop, and are consumerist?

Secondly, so as not to invalidate such a conclusion- do you feel that all other 'races' have a smaller percentage that take part in these activities?

i like fried chicken. i like hip hop. i like saving money.

Seems perfectly sensible to me.

No, he quite clearly said 'the majority of black people', with no qualification at all.

listen i dated the same jamaican chick twice over a 10 year period for about 3 years in total
ive been surrounded by black people,i may sound like im generalizing with my comments but its a fact
i have total qualification to comment
its harsh but true
but what ive stated is a fact

put it this way
i saw a black girl with a skateboard and a Pixies t shirt last week and it was if i saw a martian
good luck to her

Try to follow. You said, Is it me, or 'x'?

Two options. Firstly, it is you. Secondly, it is x.

My answer: it is you.

Simple. (Also like you)

I don't know where the ''friend chicken'' thing came from.

Hip-hop culture has been modified in such way that poverty is glamorised, while at the same time chatting about how one should get what one wants my any means.

I believe this is V complex.

And other 'races' have exactly the same amount of participation but in a different sub-cultures, of similar nature.

Dependant on the socio-economic status, gender, sexuality and peers, these sub-cultures change.

Examples - there is a substantial raise in girl gang culture- these gangs of girls are mixed, with a majority of working class white females.

Other 'races' have the same amount of participation in like subcultures (''chav'' culture, for example) but they are different for each of them, and they depend, as i already stated, on range of factors.

So what? Do most black people listen to, and follow the teachings of, hip-hop? Bear in mind the scope of hip-hop.

Not sure of the relevance of all that.

I don't care that he's saying bad shit about black people, what made him and idiot was this little gem:

Im making lots of sense you are just ignoring what im saying and not making an effort to understand. Im aware that not all black people are like that but there are a significant amount of black people who are. I mean even in Sierra Leone when they started kiling each other one group of soldiers called themselves The West Side Boys...wonder where they got their inspiration....

Listen im going to leave you with some thing Chris Rock said. You know Chris Rock the black comdeian who I think grew up in Harlem or Brooklyn this is what he said.

"There are black people and there are n***** and the n***** **** it up for everybody."

I guess you're going to tell Chris Rock he is talking nonsense as well.

Hip-hop music or the culture it reproduces?

Mainstream hip-hop culture produces a certain image, which I already mentioned.
Glamourisation of guns, poverty and bling-bling.

I can't know the majority of black people in the world, as research of that scale is not done.
What I can claim is that majority of black males between ages of 16-25 in England and Wales have a culture which mirrors the hip-hop culture of America.

Nobody is denying that it influences idiots, I believe the question is; Where are you (and others, no names, no names) coming up with this bs that "most" do anything?

This is not however, to say that they are all gun mongering criminals! A greatest number are not.

Why I know a live example of a black male, half Jamaican half African who despises the idea of ''baggy pants 50 cent look'' and does everything in his power to not be seen like that. Ever. He says promoting young black males as educated and smart is far more important than looking like a 50 cent clone. He also believes that such is not ''black'' culture at all, but blues, jazz and soul are.

He has been accused of acting ''white'' numerous times.

And this is what we mean by ''Americanisation of England''.
