I think punisher believes that the gov does such a crap job taking care of criminals that he doesn't want them to be in charge of superheros too.

I like this issue and I love how Jack O' Lantern and Jester
took down Spiderman after all he went through!

Have you considered the possibility that Iron Man aided in the design of the bomb, and installed something to override the spider-sense? You're having a cow over something that's not that far-fetched.

you explanation is a great one but it clearly wasn't addressed in the book.
besides, NOTHING overrides the spidersense except the symbiote.
it's pre-cognitive. there's really no way to override it.
it's not just this issue, but marvel has been EXTREMELY sloppy
lately with how their characters are depicted using their powers.
it's starting to become more like scripted pro-wrestling
where everyone is basically the same, except for different
outfits and a signature move....
i understand they've got stories to tell, but this constant
misrepresentation of peoples' powers is making those
stories less and less palatable.

I not dissagreeing with what you said earlier. No doubt Matt would side with Cap, I was just saying that I don't Matt has been involved in the war at any point

But DD is shown as leaving the country as soon as he gets out of jail. Plus it would muck up the timeline considering DD was shown to be IF in Cable and Deadpool which takes place after the diner scene

In the last issue we see a guy with a ski-mask looking onto the anti-heroes after the battle with Clor. It's only one panel but it was there
