Actually, they're all standing up for what they believe in. Captian America is standing up against the law because he believes he's doing the right thing. Iron Man is standing up against his former friends and collegues because he believes he's doing the right thing. The Thing is standing up against his country because he believes he's doing the right thing.

This is an interesting issue. IMO it shows just how wrong the SRA is. All the "important people" seem to have an agenda for not only the registered heroes but would benefit greatly by having Tony "judas"Stark as head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Another interesting thing I noticed was that the guy mentioned Tony was responsible for the deaths of over200 people, women and children included. Since I dont follow IM does anybody know what the guy is talking about?.

In the last IM arc someone was hacking his suit in order to assassinate people. One of those involved him shooting down a passenger plane.

Spider-Man's spider-sense has been buzzing constantly since he outed himself in the public. He says so himself in Sensational Spider-Man 31. There's your answer. Happy now? 😉

Nope

Aww, poor baby. Tough luck. 😛

Iron Man #13 has been posted in the scans thread. Interesting issue. Stark killed over 200+, everything gets "buried" and he gets to lead the Pro side and possibly SHIELD. Yup, Caps side is wrong and Judas side is right, How ca they be wrong?! <--sarcasm!

Its just that its not much of an explanation. There's been situations where his spider-sense is reacting to many different things at once. At worst we get him realizing a problem when its too late, not a complete and utter lack of danger recognition. Remember how at the tower in Amazing his spider-sense was buzzing like crazy but he was still able to stop that guy with the gun. Also this time he wasn't even surrounded by people. He was in an isolated enviroment and got nothing

wow Millar said it wouldn't be the side we think that's gonna win the war. I think many people including myself were thinking it would be a draw........Now I'm starting to think Tony will win......

Yeah i agree.

It's not going to be typical Marvel stuff where Cap's team come out winning like the golden boys and a cheesy ending of Cap forgiving Tony infront of the Statue of Liberty while the sun is going down.

I think like Marvel said they were drawing political analogys that we'll see resistance fighting going on for a while after CW end's i.e. drawing a comparasion to resistance fighting in the middle east or something it'll benefit there pocket's so of course i think they'll do that.

Then another massive event will take place to plunder our pockets. XD

Well Joe Q just confirmed it

Tony will not be Iron Man at the end of Civil War 🙁

Rather he will be the new director of S.H.E.I.L.D.

Also, Dan Slott may be writing the new New Warriors book, post-civil war 😄

OH well... maybe at the end of the day we can just smile and say, "Well, it isn't the Bible, it's a comic book." have a little chuckle, and go back to our normal lives.

Then again... we could write them a letter and say that they're destroying their biggest character. Or complain about it on the blogs. Whatever. I really didn't think it was a huge deal. But I'm sure they're going to explain it away or something.

The quote "That's 32 pieces of silver Judas" has been used frequintly throughout history.

In fact, it was used as political commentary in a presidential election, I can't remember which one, but I think it may have been the election after Lincoln died 😬

I always thought it was 30 pieces of silver instead of 32.

It was.

Thirty pieces of Silver for betraying Christ.

Daredevil/Danny was saying that Tony already got his thirty pieces of silver for his betrayal, so that this silver dollar made thirty one.

What the heck did that have to do with anything I said?

The Biblical reference I made was merely pointing out that it wasn't really a Holy Book or anything like that. That it is a comic book. So it isn't something worth reading too much into - just accept that maybe Tony shut down his spider-sense, or he was having a bad day, or whatever.

And they're right, it was 30 pieces of silver.

Oh okay.

Just wanted to make sure, because I thought you'd have to be pretty ignorant to go in the direction you did off that quote.

Hey, when does Thing get get his own comic from this whole Civil War thing? Or are they just going to have him randomly walking around France and Switzerland getting confused with fat kids with really bad cases of acne?

He has his own comic 😐

It was canceled because Marvel cares more about sales then quality

However, post Civil-War, I have no idea what's going on with Ben

Sales are more important than quality to ANY company.
