It doesn't bother me at all if they reveal Spidey's id and break up the marriage. Those are both two things that will always be constant. We all know at some point the world will forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, and we all know that eventually MJ and Peter will end up back together.

In the meantime, comics aren't going anywhere. They are going to be around for a looooong time. So eventually stories will get stagnant. The whole world knowing Spider-Man's identity? Hasn't been done before. If it turns out to be absolute crap, then it'll get retconned all the quicker. If it actually turns out to be well written and entertaining, then i see no problem. Same for MJ and Peter splitting up. It's been done before, but if it's actually done well this time, then it'll be a decent read for however long it lasts.

What i'm trying to say is it's pointless getting bent out of shape about this stuff. I used to get really pissed at some of the decisions made in comics, but it's a waste of time. Comics will always return to the status quo, especially on the main titles.

And that's it for my rant of the day.

I'm still dropping AMZ and Sensational. i really haven't enjoyed reading AMZ in a long long time. And the only thing that I still liked about the title will soon be gone. And Sensational really isn't going anywhere for me plot wise. the ugly art doesn't help it either.

oh well guess this opens up space for some other series I've been wanting to buy but couldn't because of the lack of money.

The ending of CW2 has the potential to be a landmark episode in Spidey's life on the level of death of Gwen Stacy . . . . or it could be just another in a long line of cheap shocks that Spidey writers and editors are known for.

Personally I feel that Ultimate Spidey gets tooled around by so many people he should be capable of smearing on the walls. He also seems to have lesser powers, and I mean far lesser, and he sucks at fighting. He almost never dominates a fight.

Also I own an Ultimate Spidey where him and Captain America are pissed at eachother and they grapple and Captain American forces him to a stalemate... the real spiderman would break Cap's hands in a heartbeat.

Ultimate Captain American beats the Hulk and 60 feet tall people in hand to hand combat...Whether Ultimate Spidey or stronger is debatable but Ultimate Cap is definitely much stronger than his 616 counterpart.

*sighs* Spidey's initial reason for wearing a mask had NOTHING to do with protecting his loved ones. He was a 15 year old kid who knew damn well that his aunt and uncle wouldn't let him out on the streets doing what he was doing. He also noticed that the mask allowed him to be himself.
