When did he make a deal with villains? He made a deal with Baron Zemo, but Baron Zemo isn't a villain. He's a Baron. It's a well known fact, if one is a Baron, one is naturally a bit nefarious. Zemo can't help his pseudo-royal heritage.
And I doubt Daredevil is Echo. She already has two aliases, and I believe she made a comment about staying in Japan to keep an eye on the Silver Samurai and Viper's Hydra contingent.

"I currently believe it's either a new guy or Jester. Jester's write up in the recent handbook builds the character up well to fit the role. Something I found surprising too is that they listed his fighting skills at 6/7 (I think Daredevil is listed the same). He'd have the abilities to take on the role, but still have the inexperience in fighting thieves and criminals.
Iron Fist has the experience fighting common thieves that he wouldn't have been surprised in the past scene showing the inexperienced DD. Also, this Daredevil has tried to stay "quiet" (so it seems), if it was a Cage and Fist plan to redeem Matt, I'd think they'd make a more public show of it."
Sounds plausible to me. Although it most likely isn't Jester, it makes for a good point, I think. Not sure about the Jester's current status, although Decalogue was set back in the lost year (I think it was a year anyways, where Bendis did the flash forward). So he could have come out of any coma, or it might have not been that severe, etc.
