well they may have just started featuring them prominently, but according to wakandan customs(retroactively speaking) all the kings have bethothed women who are wives in training, as well as skilled warriors and he either chooses one or both.. i dont remeber which..so since he's been king for a while i assume he's been rolling with them for a while too..so yeah whats gonna happen to them now that he's gonna marry storm?

like i said with Hudlins retcon hasn't he only been BP for about a year?

Or i have been told wrong? don't really follow BP. never really cared for him.

He could have a 3some with both of them for all I care. I dont want Storm marrying him.

Too late now. BTW, according to Marvel.com, there will be a death and funeral in issue #4.

he's been the panther for more than a year, wayyyyyy more in fact. cuz remember the issue before CW#1 stated that the illuminati once included t'challa but after he heard what they were planning he walked away. and that comic was set 5 or 6 years b4 the current marvel timeline, hudlin didnt re-boot the entire black panther mythos just a few small details here and there. like the aforementioned wives in training. and the hatut Zurare(sp). plus when spidey was going thru his "other" illness he went to wakanda and t'challa scanned his dna to figure out what was wrong and also, gave him some of the sacred herb to eat. and spidey went there on the avengers' dime. so that means that black panther's time and previous relationship with the avengers havent been erased. somebody would be a fool to want to do that now

Actually I remember someone asking bendis the same thing in an interview for the Illuminati.

something along the lines of why was Panther at the meeting when Hudlin has only had him as the panther for about a year....

this whole retcon thing has got me confused 😕

hey you and me both

how exactly could t'challa's decades of past adventures be retconned away/into a one-year period? priest would have a gun to hudlin's head the second he heard about that shit.

Look around. You think Stan Lee is happy about some of the changes happening to his characters? 😬

He's only been BP for a YEAR? But... what about the avengers?

This is why Hudlin's BP is garnering so much hate. That, and it's just plain bad.

As far as for BP, I like Kasper more than T'Challa....

cover to civil war 6 Micheal turner cover here............

I'm looking forward to that issue, and i'm glad it's McNiven doing the interior and not Turner. Turner's Namor just seems off to me.

Why??? Well ok it's a bit like Black Adam...But I like it...A King in swimming panties is worse...I think this costume and the Turner's Namor is cool.

Dunno what it is, just don't like it. It's not terrible, but i don't think it's one i'd like to see in the comic. Especially when McNiven draws a great Namor already.

On another note, is the Marvel Atlantis surrounded by a dome? Last i remember, it wasn't.

Last I've read an issue where it was in it, it wasn't but we should ask Dark Crawler...he lives there 😖hifty:

It's not. But they change things all the time. It's a big city. 🙂

This may have been addressed above, but I'm still confused. Black Panther (due to retconning) has only been the Black Panther for a year now?

Did the current author know that he was first introduced as the Black Panther in 1966? And has been Black Panther ever since?

Sorry for bringing it back up again, I'm just confused. How was this retconned?

just reposting this here so people looking for the first issue won't have look everywhere else
