It's really not the same, at least for heroes who are relatively ordinary e.g. street levellers. For someone like Carol Danvers or the FF yes it's sort of the same. For someone like Captain America or Stark or Batman if he was in Marvel who are relatively ordinary, they choose to fight. For mutants it's not that they intend to use their powers in the public domain that they have been trying to register them. It's not the fact that they're vigilantes as the majority before HoM were just ordinary citizens. It's simply because they exist. Being born a mutant was sufficient cause for registration, regardless of whether they intended to actively use their powers or whether their power was in any way destructive.
Hit the nail on the head methinks...
only a madman would want xavier in Emma's place, cuz he would have been like "Xmen assemble! there are sapiens to impress, and maybe when they see the good we're doing for them they will start to like us"...lame ****er!
did anyone read xmen#188 that just came out with sabretooth coming to them for help? well in it rogue, iceman, emma, scott and a few others went on a missin to rescue mutants that were being dissected at a hospital and their parts studied. then boom their backs were against the wall and rogue did some quick thinkin and absorbed cyclops blasts and emmas diamond form and took out all the bad guys and a few civilains, and when they got back to the mansion xavier was all like "arent you gonna repremand her for the reckless use of her powers..." scott was like "repremand her, ive already commened her for her quick thinking" and just wlaked away and left him standing thier like an idiot 😆 then he turned to emma and was like please talk to him, and she blew him off too....funniest shit ever
In case anyone's curious and waiting (and I know some of you are), I'm in the process of scanning and uploading now. Give me about 30 minutes. In the meantime, I can tell you what I'll be posting.
ASM #534 (Which follows immediatly after Civil War #3, and features a battle between Cap and Spidey), Young Avengers & Runaways, Civil War: Front Line #4 (is that a Pumkin Bomb I see), and the Black Panther/Storm wedding (EVERYONE showed up to this thing, from Oprah and Bush, to Blade and the Watcher). And if I'm not tired, I might post NA #22 as well - or I may leave it to someone else. Let's jsut see what happens.

Why don't people like the wedding?

bad writing, a washed up story about two prominent black characters who just so happen to be "madly in love," and the sheer out-of-the-blue aspect of it. also, everyone knows forge is much more of ororo's type.

Hmmm I remember saying something about not trusting the new Spidey armor/costume(page 7). I guess it is beggining to show that Stark did have a hidden agenda giving Peter the new costume. Peter registered willingly and publicly. Why would Stark need to go behind his back to find out more data about him. Thats exactly why the SRA is a bad thing.
alright, NA 22
Luke cage is probably one of my favorite heroes now

Is it the Moral thing to do no but was it the right thing to do Yes. Iron Man is a leader and as such he has to make decisions like that any good leader would do the same thing even Cap.
