While preparing for a performance, Richard and his family find that the circus owner has been cheating the employees out of their fair cut and there is nothing they can do about it. Later he over hears buglers planning to steal from the owner. Richard sees this as the chance for his family to get the payback they deserved. When the thieves confront the owner he refuses, and that night young Parker watches in horror as his parents' parents were shot in the crossfire of the robbery. While many of the cities citizens watch on. Richard feels responsible, because he doesn't warn his parents in time.
During the tragedy, a dark figure attempts to rescues Richard and his family from the chaos but he fails and only manages to save Richard form the uncaring juvenile services system. Seeing a reflection of him in the teen. The dark figure turned out to be the one and only Leatherdemon and shortly after not only reveals his identity, but also makes the young orphan the offer of a lifetime the chance to train under him to reach his full potential and his training begins. He then commits to a life of a hero , driven by his family’s death and Leatherdemons words, "With great power there must also come great responsibility" This disarming mix of selfless obligation and self-recrimination brought about by his families death arguably makes up Richard moral core.
After his family’s death, he trained profusely with Leatherdemon and eventually used his own intelligence to produce a formula that would exponentially increase his strength and especially his agility. However this turns out to be a curse he wished he’d never brought on himself, since afterwards he only finds more events he could have helped to prevent rather than using the new found strengths to benefit his past inadequateness he only discovers additional amounts.
Richard also tried to help guide Bloodspiller but, he was not successful. After he blinded Leatherdeman Richard tracked him down and confronted him. They began to fight and Darkweb started to gain the upper hand and threadend to kill Bloodspiller but stopped remembering what vengeance had brought him before. Then Bloodspiller took his chance and jumped into the nearby river. Darkweb knew it wasn’t the end…
Dude...this little universe we have going rocks.I'm cool with Darkweb taking it to Bloodspiller in the first round......however he now faces a Bloodspiller who is aware of his enhanced Meta-status and will be prepared.......

I'de prefer under Venom personally but it's smurph and Enties choice.
Hey Entity would it be cool if i wrote a story using dark-web and bloodspiller?
Personnally I wouldn't mind doing a Venom level one but I still want to do a under spidey level too because the more I think about my combo the more I like him.
Would My first picks work with Venom level?
And Darth I was talking about giving out promotions to elite I have a few opinions that I think deserve it most.

And I'll check with a couple of people to see if your initial picks would work. My initial reaction is that they would, but it'll actually depend on whether or not the other participants go for it.
And the promotion thing is a good idea. If you'd like, you can PM your nominations to me(if you want it to be kept secret), or we can just talk about it here(if you don't care).

We have created our own new universe.
I have an interesting thought for a very different combo. Does anyone think a Blade/Superman cross could work? Either way I am going to give it a try.
Oh and mind if I add a few of myown personal characters to this new universe? They aren't based on previous characters but I have stories for them I have been dying to tell and get peoples reaction on.

Ok people I've been thinking about it, and I think that this is the best way to go about the tourney.
Starting at whatever time the participants agree on, everyone will PM their picks to me in a kind of draft. You'll only get to make one pick at a time, and you can't make your second pick until everyone else has made a pick also. I'll announce each pick(without telling who drafted the character) as they come in, that way no one knows for sure what kind of Amalgam the other's are making. If anyone objects to a character that's been picked(because it's thought that he or she is to powerful), the draft will be halted until the pick is sorted out. It would be nice if a bio was included, so that anyone who is unfamiliar with the character in question, will be able to look over the characters abilities. I'd suggest setting the draft date a day or two from now, that way potential characters can be discussed before hand, and the draft isn't held up with a bunch of arguing about whether or not a character is acceptable.
So how does that sound to you guys?
