Thanos vs Superman

^ And Superman "pulverizing it to dust" is you injecting your personal interpretation into the feat -- which is frankly, unsupported on-panel -- and is therefore, still reaching.

Grey Hulk destroys an asteroid two times the size of Earth and is fine afterwards.

Superman destroys the 'moon', and is KO'ed afterwards.

Actually taking these feats into account, you'd have to be a real idiot to argue Superman's feat is better. 😬

Pretty sure that asteroid wouldn't have been as dense as the earth or moon.

^ Clearly it was filled with interstellar cotton candy. crackers

One thing's for sure if the asteroid would have been as dense as some posters here, Hulk would have killed himself trying to crush it.

😛

So acting like it's entire structure were reduced to dust particles outweighs busting something that is literally eight times the size of that shadow moon is reaching.

okay i dont even care about the feat anymore, just answer this question. Is it harder to pulverize or crack into two pieces?

Which is why Hulk wanted to bust it open. Hulk loves cotton candy.

RIGHT

All I see is purple DUST and SMALL pieces of rock

RIGHT!

Becasue Interstellar cotton candy will kill everybody on earth.

Not even mentioning ths FACT that McDuffie's intention was to make the Shadow moon the same mass of our moon, which is not 81 billion tons but 81 billion billion tons, but lets not get into that

Just think about it a celestial body of "81 billion" tons traveling at 7,614.000.00 km/h and Superman stop it dead in it's tracks and not only that but He Pulverize it.

Try to do that

Grab a rock a nail and a hammer and break the rock with the tip of the nail

Now grab a smaller piece of rock 8 times smaller and PULVERIZE it with the tip of the nail

Have fun 😎

Did you even read the text bubble?

Hardly

For one you do not even have the speed of the asteroid or the mass, just a vague "twice the size of earth" which could mean that it was a hollow asteroid, just like a big cocconut shell

And it seems you forget on purpose that PULVERIZATION takes more energy than breaking even IF this is twice the size of earth.

Then prove it's hollow because what we do know is Superman was moving at much higher speeds with something much smaller than Hulk destroying something far bigger while going a lot slower. Winner Hulk by a mile.

Like you even read it.

how is he reaching by saying pulverization takes more striking force than cracking. that is fact. i think supes feat is more impressive. doesnt prove hes stronger than hulk. but shows if he uses his speed, he can hit with more force.
Meaning Hulk's is more impressive because he wasn't going as fast and still did so which is more a strength feat than Superman's.

Well in their defense they probably prefer dc so bran's theory adds up.

preference should have nothing to do with it...really

It's a joke, seriously.

you must be quite the geologist to deduce the density of an extraterrestrial rock twice the size of earth from a couple glances...in a comic. 😐

anyway...

savage hulk would have made that asteroid seemingly teleport if he punched it. no dust whats so ever

Oh you.

some of you guys are hilarious with the science speculation... and trying to ignore feats or minimize them with your interpretation.

anyways some ppl theorize that our moon itself is hollow so that should stop ppl from trying to distinguish and lowball hulk's feat which by the way a writer gave no mention of the asteroid being hollow so it must be taken at face value.
