Thanos vs Superman

I'm always amazed by people saying Superman can't hurt, or would barely hurt Thanos, considering that arguably Superman's most powerful weapon is his physical strength, which in even weaker forms has allowed him to take on actual angels, gods, demons and to move celestial objects.

Not to mention punching power that even while being absorbed could still be felt miles away.

Not saying he'd win, but saying he's incapable of actually physically matching or competing with someone like Thanos seems to me to be either just bias, hate, or misinformation.

Thanos isn't tanking superman punches let alone beating superman easily. There is no feats suggesting otherwise.

But where does Superman stomps or combos to KO right of the bell fit it?

Also why was it that SS got stomped but Supes cant be? Whats the diff, they are both HHs.

They're probably think that because of Thanos taking physical shots from an amped Thor with a smile, or the whole thing where he was taking blasts from Odin after the Allfather one shotted Surfer(and if Surfer went down to a single one of those blasts, Supes most likely would too).

Think about it like this, if a character showed that he could take shots from sundipped Supes's with a smile in one showing and weathered multiple blasts capable of one shotting standard Supes in another showing, do you really think it be so off for people to think that Hercules or Thor would be completely ineffective against him h2h?

It is in his character. He has blitzed before. He has also dodged attacks too.

Characters fight at their best.

Wrong the fact that thanos took punches from thor with the power gem ( thanos was knocked around a bit thats all) proves his duribility is insane. I think supes is being under estimated but hes still not winning this fight.
