I think the story line was better an illustration that WW can hang with the big boys, rather than what a psychotic SM can do.
Written correctly, Diana is not getting her bracelets up in time to deflect all those blasts of heat vision. She even said she barely got them up in time. Plus we do not see an onslaught of hundreds of planet busting punches thrown per sec.

Did superman destroy a planet that I am unaware of?
It was also mentioned that wonder woman reflexes is above supes so why wouldn't she be able to defend of attacks from supes? I agree, I would give supes the majority against her but my reasons isn't due to a blitz since she is faster... I would give him the majority because he is more powerful.

he doesn't need to destroy a planet. he's done better. lol @ it being some kind of benchmark.
one example isn't consistent proof. plus, the writer you're using is the worst possible example considering his own bias.

Wow, so all the times hes been shown to be faster go out the window because one writer says shes trained herself to have faster reflexes?
Not to mention that same issue mentions how he has more raw speed.

Going by showings to me her reflexes just seems superior...especially if we reveiew the things that she has blocked throughout her history with her bracers. Flight, yes, I agree, supes is much faster.
