That's cool and all, but really, the forum has people who hate Thanos (or Quan) and people who wank Superman just as they have people who hate Superman and wank Thanos. Anyway, I really don't Superman as being able to put down Thanos as easily as Thanos put down Silver Surfer, which would conversely mean that Superman would be capable of one-shotting Surfer, which is ridiculous beyond belief.

I believe Thor is more powerful than Hulk
But I believe Hulk is stronger than Thor
And Superman is stronger and faster than Darkseid, but more powerful? Nah
What I have seen of Thanos in the physical and speed dept has not impress me at all. Hell I have been more impressed of Brainiac's mental attacks, than the all mighty Thanos.

Lex with infinite power at his disposal couldn't kill Superman what's purple prune face going to do here? Superman survived the breaking of the source wall. Thanos' sheilds won't hide him from someone who can shatter reality. A normal human with superspeed can hit as hard as the hulk now a class 100 being with equal speed is going to one shot people if he wants to.

Because the Phantom Zone being he was leeching off of limited how he could use the powers.
It couldn't take the power back from Lex, but retained just enough control to make Lex only use the power for good.

Bottomline Superman is stronger and faster than Thanos.
A high end Superman using his abilites intelligently like shown before with stomp Thanos.

He's not going to one shot Thanos. He doesn't come close to it, either.
If you want to think that high end, balls-to-the-walls CIS/CIP off Superman can beat Thanos, cool. But there's no way in hell he's going to one shot Thanos with or without his shields.
