While I am of the opinion that Thanos takes it without much trouble

Fair enough. Can you also say why ? Superman is stronger, at least as durable and much much faster.

So maybe it's me, but it seems a bit illogical to vote for the weaker person. Or is it because Thanos "is da man" ?

So I explained why Superman would win : stronger, at least as durable and lots faster. Superman has the better cards here.

I would like to hear how exactly Thanos would beat Superman without prep or without PIS ? If Superman uses a fraction of his brain, Thanos won't even be able to touch him.

So, how will Thanos beat a stronger, a flying and a faster opponent ? Please, no lame ABC comparisons like "Dude he beat Surfer and Surfer is above Superman" or "Dude it's freaking Thanos are you insane ?"

I want acceptable reasons. I think this is not unreasonable.

Thanos is Durable enough to stand up to Odin. He also has those cosmic powers. He can beat Superman. Superman is Faster and Stronger, But he's not a better fighter. Thanos Trained Gamora and Gamora can net some wins against Superman. Now put Gamora's Skill in someone as strong and powerful as Thanos. SUperman Goes down eventually.

He's not stronger. He has no feats to suggest he is. He is tuffer than SUperman. But his other powers and senses and battle skill put him over the edge.

Durable ? I'll show that I'm a nice guy : IF Thanos is more durable - you see the word IF there, right ? - it won't be much.

Not that he is more durable. I think they are pretty equal.

Thanos is def more durable. He has with stood attacks from Tyrant and Odin. I do remember Superman being blasted so hard that he was sent flying thru time tho. It's a toss up. But I think Thanos is more durable.

Probably not, Thanos also has energy manipulation abilities and mystical abilities.

Thanos walked away from fighting Odin, superman is a fly.

I wouldn't know. You don't know either by the way.

I always considered him way above a normal Hulk (at least Class 100). But he isn't as strong as a very pissed Hulk.

The reason I say this, is because - I don't know how many times I've said this - Thanos has no real strength feats. He has amazing durability feats and such, but, compared to let's say Hulk or Superman, his strength feats aren't that impressive.

Thanos is very powerful, more powerful than the Hulk, that's for sure. But he isn't necessarily stronger.

Thanos was trading blows with Thor in Warrior Madness with the power gem and fine after the fight, needed no rest and went on to face Odin (and was standing after that fight too), why would punches from Superman hurt him any more either of those two?
