Wii Virtual Console Discussion

Ok, So I got my Star Fox 64 and Ocraina of Time, I'm very happy...Now, Give me Megaman, Megaman X, Super Metroid (oh god give me this game), Sonic and Knuckles or Sonic 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Turok 2, and Majora's Mask. Then I'll be set.

You know what game I'd also love to see, the Episode I Podracing game, that game was frikkin amazing.

You have zero VC games?

I'd recommend these. (In no order, except for #1)

1) Zelda OoT - Best game ever crafted by human hands, enough said.

2) Star Fox 64 - Not only is it the best Star Fox game but its insanely addictive for some reason. Not only that its a pure masterpiece of a flying game. One of N64's best games.

3) Super Mario 64 - Do I even need a reason?

4) Donky Kong Country - Awesome SNES game, fun as hell and moderately challenging, its the best DK game without a doubt, Plus the graphics are pretty slick for a SNES game.

5) Super Mario Bros. - Isn't it mandatory for all people to own this game in some way? If you don't, you have to get it, its retro gaming to perfection and its just awesome.

6) Super Mario World - Its the best Side scrolling Mario IMO, SNES's Mario game and a platforming work of art. Plus it houses some of my fav Mario tunes.

7) Mario Kart 64 - Its Mario Kart, its awesome, its plain fun. Don't get it unless you have means to play with at least 2 other people though.

8) Zelda: ALTTP - SNES's Zelda, it was the game that first perfected the Zelda formula and its without a shadow of a doubt THE best SNES game ever. Its a masterpiece and one of Miyamoto's best.

Hope that helps a bit. Those are the best VC titles out IMO.

you forgot kirby superstar..thats up there with ALTTP and dk country in my opinion..the minion thing was classic awesomeness

Does anyone know when the full version of the internet on Wii will be downloadable. Also, what about these star points being converted into Wii points.

Star points? What's that?

As for the the Internet channel is using Opera, which is Norwegian. And Norwegians are sloooooww, so don't hold your breath.

The full browser is expected in July at the latest.

Still hoping they add Saturn games.

I hope so too, but they'd be considerably larger downloads and slightly more difficult to do. Needless to say Sega and Nintendo seem to be on really good terms at the moment, so its not an impossibility. Just don't expect it anytime soon though.

I believe star points are a European thing. Like, buy Nintendo stuff, get points. Earn enough points and trade them for swag. I think there was talk of being able to trade star points for Wii points to download with.

No such thing here, and last time I checked we were still a part of Europe.

When are going to give us access to all videos on the internet channel? The only ones I can watch are on YouTube, and there's lots of stuff I want to watch that require Windows Media Player or something.
