Wii Virtual Console Discussion

Just for shits & giggles, I downloaded Street Fighter 2: Turbo Fighting (SNES) and F-Zero (SNES).

Both of them really bring back some old memories, seeing as how I haven't played Street Fighter for almost a decade, and F-Zero used to consume my friends and I after school by having contests where the loser of a race had to do someone's homework.

having trouble getting online with my wii. lost my wepkey haha. oh well.

gunstar heroes is legendary, toejam and earl also. first mario bros have to get too.

Any idea of what's coming tomorrow? I mean BESIDES TG-16 games, any chance of ANOTHER SNES classic like DKC2? I mean, a little MARIO RPG, SUPER Metroid, DKC3, come on now Nintendo.

And if they want me to spend 1,000 points on N64 games, they better put up Goldeneye/Perfect Dark, Paper Mario and Jet Force Gemini. 😛

The N64 games they do have are the best of the best. Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Zelda OoT, and Star Fox so it's not like they're putting up horrible 64 games.

And according to wikipedia Paper Mario has been confirmed for the virtual console so hopefully it comes out soon.

I have the Master Quest disc on GameCube, so missing out on the Muslim chants, and the changed shape on the blocks is no reason for me to drop $10 again. I have Mario 64 DS, so I don't need to re-buy it, and I choose not to play Mario Kart 64 again. Star Fox also isn't that worth it to me.

I know Paper Mario is on Wiki, I just want it RELEASED IN THE US.

I wish that there was a list available of upcoming releases and release dates. It's very infuriating, IMO.

Today I downloaded Super Mario Bros. 2. An oldie, but goodie. It's a very underrated game, if you ask me.

Wiki has a temp list, but it's all 'unknown' and planetgamecube.com said Paper Mario 64 would come out this month, but it's not even out in Japan yet, so who knows. I just want the Lost Levels.

I'd much rather have the All-Stars versions of 2 & 3. I don't mind having the 85' Mario Bros, because that is what it is, but the graphical updates to 2 & 3 are amazing I think. I mean, come on, in Mario 3 on NES, Luigi had a GREEN Tanooki tail. WHY not just change the overalls? 😛

There's also hardly any sound on Mario 2 on NES, I mean it could be my TV, but Mario Bros. 1 had plenty of sound which is also NES. Excitebike isn't bad as well.

I also want the original Duckhunt before the Sequal comes out this month.

So what came out today? Work computers pretty much block any site that can tell me. lol

Mach Racer, Yoshi for NES, and something else.

Which is total garbage since Destructoid.com is right, if they put Paper Mario 64, Super Metroid, Mario Bros. 3 in the same week, that's almost everything I need.

No, im pretty sure there was always tax.

Oh, I don't recall it the last time I bought 1,000 points, I bought 2,000 today, oh well.

I hate the point system, I have had 900 for months, but I had to spend $10 today to get the last 100. 😬

I downloaded Paper Mario today. I'm gonna give it a whirl soon, but first I'm gonna play my newest PS3 purchase, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, first.

Indeed, have had 900 points since Mario Kart 64 was added to VC, and have considered buying a N64 game more but because of the point system I haven't bothered.

Is that game really that much harder than Devil May Cry 3, on the hardest difficulties? I can't imagine wanting to buy a game that would make me want to smash my controller.
