T &T post their script of DMC

On Wordplayer.

Lots of interesting stuff. Check it out.

Tension indicated when Elizabeth first says, "Captain Jack Sparrow." and an interesting added line by Beckett when Elizabeth says the letters of marque are going to will-- he says "What about you and Jack?"

anyways, its on wordplayer, its pretty cool. 🙂

the davy jones scene is much longer as well- the one with Jack. its pretty funny. and Jones suggests Jack is trading Will to gain the lovely lady.

and Gibbs and Jack have an extended conversation in Tortuga about gibbs writing to his lawyer, and him and all the crew knowing Jack's compass hasnt worked since he was saved from the gallows

OOOOOOH! interesting.

So when Will and Bootstrap are talking for the first time, and Will says the line "So I'm to understand what you did was an act of compassion?" and Bootstrap says "yes"... Will goes off into this thing about him being his father's son, because he basically did the same thing to his father when he lifted the curse in film 1- to save Elizabeth- knowing it could mean his father's death if he was still at the bottom of the sea.

So essentially, before meeting back up with bootstrap, Will put Elizabeth's life ahead of his

and Jones and Will have a pleasant conversation where Will says "a woman need not make you desperate if you choose the right one" and then Jones says "I remember now. you're the one who hopes to be married. but your fate is to be married to this ship."

do you hav the link?

those last two things you said were in the book

and the last time jack looks at the compass in the longboat, the shot is meant to cut to Elizabeth and then directly back to Jack, clarifying where Jack's compass is pointing

Really interesting read. Doesn't reveal a lot, but shades of things. Elizabeth's budding captaincy is pretty clear when she takes charge of the Pearl. Will's loyalty to his father is far more pronounced and desperate. The description of the kiss is very interesting and more telling is the sequence of the events in Tia Dalma's cabin. It does appear that Elizabeth is answering yes to Will's unfinished question.

Thoughts about the script, friends?

it isn't letting me download it... can someone copy and email it to me?

Yes. LOVED their description of the kiss- had heard that before but wasnt sure it was actually them saying it. brilliant.

I liked all the stuff they left out- clarifying certain things. Its interesting that Jones and Beckett both insituate to Jack and Elizabeth (more than in the completed film) about their attraction to one another.

t and t's style is so funny.

All really great stuff.....of course they cut all those things out....it would have only been more obvious of Jack and Liz LOVE!!! Maybe they're just waiting for 3 to come out to really show the love!!!

haha well i'm not quite that confident, but it was a different look at it. 🙂

Wow. The description for that kiss. wow.

I love the "A kiss that has been building since the day Jack and Elizabeth met."

😱

wait earlier you said elizabeth answers "yes" to wills questions what was wills question? And this is great news!!! i agree they didn't put it all on the dvd to make it too obvious of jack and liz's love!

Is the line Jack says about being an advocate of marriage because it's a bet to see who will fall out of love first in the script, or just in the book?

its in the script

They're really setting us up for something...can you give us a link? I find it really interesting all the villains, Barbossa, Davy, and Beckett, are the ones who pick up on something going on between Jack and Liz, or that they're at least well suited for each other. They see it, and Norrington, who may or may not turn out to be a bad guy, sees it better than anyone. Isn't that weird?

OMG YES!!!!!! could it be that they are conspiring to use Elizabeth to bait JACK!!!! OMG!!!! Whats the one thing Villans go after in movies when they want whoever they want to cooperate....they KIDNAP their family or a loved one....thats how u get adventure!!!!

I never thought of that. You could be right. Wow. Jack must really be alone in the world if they have to resort to almost matchmaking him. It's like they're trying to get a rise out of him to see if it would even be worth the trouble to put her in danger.
