wait earlier you said elizabeth answers "yes" to wills questions what was wills question? And this is great news!!! i agree they didn't put it all on the dvd to make it too obvious of jack and liz's love!
At the very end, Will says something to the effect of, "If there were anything to be done to bring him back, Elizabeth...."
And then Tia Dalma hastily interrupts. It seems as though he were about to either ask her if she would do it. To which, I think she replies yes, almost as if admitting something to him. But, it's hard to say where everything is going at this point.

Yes. LOVED their description of the kiss- had heard that before but wasnt sure it was actually them saying it. brilliant.I liked all the stuff they left out- clarifying certain things. Its interesting that Jones and Beckett both insituate to Jack and Elizabeth (more than in the completed film) about their attraction to one another.
t and t's style is so funny.
Jones insinuates that Jack has feelings for Elizabeth?! Where was that? I totally missed it. I guess I should re-read it.
Sorry for the third post in a row, but I thought the most interesting parts of the script were some of Bootstrap's exchanges with Will and Jack. It's a shame that they cut them out, because it's intriguing. Why is it that Bootstrap doesn't believe he's a good man? What was it in his past that he believes condemns him to that fate?
He also makes an important statement that I think applies to the overall character theme that carries during AWE. (I'm paraphrasing): "It's not what others do to you, but what you do to others." I think this applies to the idea that during the course of AWE, all of the characters betray each other at least once.
Also, it sort of applies to Elizabeth from a certain perspective. In that, Elizabeth's actions at the end of DMC seem (in some ways) a punishment for what Jack did to Will. But in chaining Jack to the mast, her actions have essentially been responsible for tearing her romance with Will apart. So, with the scenes that have been leaked about Will's not being able to forgive Elizabeth easily for what she did to Jack, we see a little of the sentiment behind that. He sees for the first time what she's capable of doing.

you are on a roll today, SS. I didnt even think about that, but that line from bootstrap is wicked insinuating... that Elizabeth won't be able to let go of what she did to jack and her future will be affected accordingly... hmmm.... but that jack and will probably will be able to let it go eventually?
Well, we saw shades that he will be able to forgive her in the rough draft script of AWE. There is a scene in which Jack is able to forgive the Kracken for killing him, and subsequently he still admires the Kracken. I'm fairly certain that the same idea also applies to Elizabeth. But she has to be able to forgive herself and understand that essentially she did the right thing. It may not have been "moral" or hold true to the structures that society places on behavior, but she saved lives. In that way, she has to come to terms with that Pirate part of herself that from the looks of things, she doesn't seem to admire so greatly.
I'm 99% certain that Will would be able to forgive her for what she did once his own foot "slips" a little. The leaked scene in which they dsicuss the events at the end of DMC doesn't leave for much hope initially, but AWE will be a long journey so to speak. He'll probably come to his senses and realize that at her heart, Elizabeth did what she did for him.
However, it depends on the definition of what she did. Did she murder Jack as a punishment for what he did to Will, thinking that Jack would never be so noble as to stay behind and offer them a fair chance, or did she do what she did because Jack presented a threat to their wedding plans? Either way, she did it for Will's benefit, but what was her real decision? If the latter, she will have more than one reason to loathe herself.

What I don't get is that T&T said by AWE, they've all betrayed each other. What's Will going to do to betray Liz?
His betrayal is more subtle, but in the first AWE script, he tells Elizabeth that he is behind her one hundred percent to rescue Jack, and instead he was actually after the Black Pearl so that he can rescue his father. Later, Will trades Jack to Sao Fen and admits to Elizabeth that he had no interest in rescuing Jack, which would have been sharing the hardships with a loved one. It's subtle, and there's no telling how things have changed since the rough draft script. Will is the wild card character.
IN THE BOAT Will looks up toward the railing, sees--
ON THE DECK ELIZABETH KISSES JACK... Jack staggers, the kiss driving him back.
Will is shocked as they move out of his sight--
THE KISS CONTINUES, all the way to the mast of the ship.
An inceridble kiss. A kiss for the ages. A kiss that has been building since the day Jack and Elizabeth met.
They break the kiss. Jack looks at Elizabeth, knowledge of his fate already in his eyes--
--there is a 'click'--
Jack glances down--
ELIZABETH HAS MANACLED HIS WRISTS, CHAINING HIM TO THE MAST
Jack looks into her eyes, desiring her all the more, knowing her heart is the same as his. Elizabeth can't hold his gaze.
