"Barely"? Do elaborate.
The only thing that one can credit Maul with in terms of hindrance is his habit of toying with his opponent. But he only does that when he's sure that he is more skilled than they are - which was the case in every fight he was in. He had more skill. In this fight against Windu, I highly doubt he'll do that, considering how he Shadow Hunter makes it clear that he has heard of Windu and "wished to face someone truly worthy of his skill" - and goes on to mention Windu's name.
Maul's gonna lose. Maul's gonna go down hard. But it's not going to be a five second fight.
