No, then i guess bane's lightning ritual would also be the greatest of the sith teachings because of its "magnitude".

Prove it was a force drain, find a credible source other than wookiepedia which in this case, it's wrong.

Might just be my bipolar neighbour, but I'm detecting a trace of hostility.

As Faunus said, one doesn't have to know the greatest technique for it to be great. But I'll concede the point is was more than a Force Drain, I do know that it's effects resulted in a planet that looked like Pompeii on the rag.

Chill im not going to be hostile or anything. I just wanted to you to prove something that you claimed, i didn't mean to sound hostile or anything.

You don't consider the creation of a storm that alters a planet's climate for years "great"? What about the thought bomb? And the force-storm?

I said greatest, not great. Theres a difference between those two, hell yes to banes ritual being a great technique, that i agree.

Face it. The most destructive techniques of the Sith are almost always their most feared and sought-after, not to mention complex in nature and incredibly difficult to perform. The fact that Nihilus's planetary-scale assault can ruin the surface of an entire world makes in large in magnitude and absolutely terrifying. The fact that it can feed him power makes it complicated. And the fact that it can be performed by one "man" and one "man" only makes it completely unique. Traya's right.
Then this is not a "mere force drain" which many people get the wrong idea off which is what i have been trying to say the past few months whenever we bring nihilus into the picture, i'm sincerely glad that you typed this out, it shows that you are not ignorant of the fact that nihilus attack is more than "just a drain", that he feeds of the death of others.

But whatever he does is clearly more than just a large-scale Force-drain. It's a black cloud - think black pyroclastic flow - that engulfs an entire planet. It razes buildings to the ground, flattens the earth, and rips flesh from bone.
Would this be his "dark variant of the force sever" or a different technique you think? This is very complicated.
