because this IS disney and IS a happy story (for the most part) i reckon we should keep our big four alive. or big five, now that anamaria has wormed her way into a leading lady role.

I added earlier on a line where Norrington suggests Jack take his dad back to his mom, but Jack doesn't say anything. I also am having Jack call his dad by his first name. I think that opens a few doors on how he was raised and what happened and leaves the question of whether his mom is alive or not. It would be kind of sweet for Jack to be with his mom for a while. I bet he looks a little like her, and I bet she's pretty hot.
Who was it way earlier at KMC wondered if Jack's mom was Indian since he was technically born in India? We can play with his parental situation later if we want. Someone continue!
Psh, nothing new, looks like Willofthewisp has to take over the story again. Guys, I have nothing for Liz and Norrie. I have no idea what they're doing and why Kate's having them be weird.
Will and the rest are organizing a search.
Gibbs: Where be Jack?
Will: (turns around) I don't know. (looks out) May have to look for him too. (sees Teague going in other direction) Hey!
Teague: Thought I'd go back to the boat and check on Swann, mate. If young Lizzie's going to get off this island, she'd have to take that ship ya know.
Will: All right. Everyone stay together.
(the group all goes together, calling for the missing people. Finally, they're back at the lagoon)
Gibbs: How did we get here?
Bootstrap: I don't know, but I don't like it. Will, we should probably head back.
Will: No. (reluctant to leave)
Anamaria: Them being not here at the lagoon nor at the boat if Teague ever gets back could mean they're not in any danger.
Gibbs: How ya figure that, miss?
Anamaria: Sometimes people just want to be alone. (looks around) Where is Barbossa?
(everyone spins around)
Will: He was just here.
Bootstrap: I last saw him around with Calypso.
Will: With Calypso? What was he doing, Father?
(Bootstrap pauses. This is the first time Will's called him Father. They both recognize it)
Bootstrap: Uh, kissing her.
Gibbs: Now that be a horrid sight.
Anamaria: I think I have it figured out now, at least where Jack is.
Will: Where?
Anamaria: Calypso's always favored Jack. I look at Barbossa's sudden burst of affection as just a way to gain some leverage.
Bootstrap: I hate leverage. Nothing but trouble.
Will: Wonderful. Keep looking. We can't bother with Barbossa right now.
Barbossa: I think ya can, Turner. (he appears from one of the ships docked in the lagoon. He has a pistol to Swann's head)
Someone make sense of this!

Gibbs: good lord, Barbossa, what about our cease fire until the other enemy was defeated?
Barbossa: change of plans.
Gibbs: Well, we figured that.
Barbossa: I'll be having your ship, Mr. Turner.
Will: My ship?
Barbossa: Aye.
CUT TO Will, Gibbs, and Anamaria running aboard the Pearl, where Jack luckily is.
Will: Jack! Barbossa's taken my ship and he's taken governor swann!
Jack: Taken them where?
Will points--- Barbossa's ship is at the front of all the pirate ships.
Jack: (sarcastically to Will) Fine captain you make. Mr. Gibbs! Bring our ship around next to Barbossa's.
Anamaria: And we're still missing James and Elizabeth.
Jack looks at her questioningly for a moment, then reaches where he kept his piece of eight; of course, it's gone.
Jack: Damn you, Elizabeth Swann!
CUT TO James and Elizabeth, sneaking back aboard Elizabeth's ship.
James: We have all of them?
Elizabeth holds out her hand, which is full of all the pieces of eight.
Elizabeth: Now we just have to get out of here before everyone realizes they're gone.
As they sail out, they hear canon fire. Barbossa is firing on Jack's ship, which has come alongside it. Elizabeth and James look at them for a moment, then at each other. Finally Elizabeth rolls her eyes dramatically, which James takes to mean they had better go try to help. He turns the ship around.
Oh, I can! This will tie into the naked mermaid scene and a Very Big Surprise. If you all can hang tight for another....er, hour while I type up an extremely long post, I can fit it all in.
I also figured out a way to kill off Swann in a more shocking way...do we want him to die now or later though? And is it just peachy with everyone if Bootstrap and Teague are at least badly wounded?
This post is extremely lengthy, so I apologize for that in advance. Depending on time issues, I may have to divide it into parts, since I have to go stop a battle first. *ggg*

CUT TO WILL'S SHIP, CURRENTLY IN POSSESSION OF BARBOSSA
*Barbossa is tapping his fingers impatiently against the wheel of the ship. Governor Swann is now free and standing there with a bored expression on his face. The governor spots another ship approaching the Pearl and the Ship of Will's That I Am Too Lazy to Name, and uses a spyglass to see who it is.*
Swann: Well, it looks like your plan worked. Here comes Elizabeth.
Barbossa: I'm an evil genius. Of course my plan worked.
*Sudden canon fire makes both men duck as the Pearl fires upon their ship.*
Swann: *struggling to get to his feet* Don't you think we should call a truce now?
Barbossa: *gets up and dusts off his jacket* Good idea, g'vner.
*Barbossa goes to the railing of Will's Ship and waves his arms around, calling to the crew of the Pearl to cease fire.*

CUT TO THE PEARL
*Will, Jack, Anamaria and the others watch as Barbossa waves his arms and hollers at them to stop firing, that he needs to talk to them.*
Will: ....do you think it's a trap?
Jack: ....I dunno. But it's fun watching him wave his arms like that.
*Jack decides that this would be a great time to mimic Barbossa, so he does, much to the other captain's annoyance.*
Will: *jabs Jack in the ribs* Stop it, or you're going to get us killed.
Will: *shouts to Barbossa* Show us that Governor Swann is all right!
*Swann pops up to the railing and waves at them.*
Gibbs: This is definitely one of the strangest hostage situations I've ever seen.
Will: I don't think it's a hostage situation at all. We were being used as bait.
*He points at James' and Elizabeth's ship. Elizabeth and her crew are busily working, but James is no where to be seen on deck.*

CUT TO A LONG BOAT
*The long boat is hidden behind the bulkhead of Elizabeth's ship. James is rowing to shore. He has the pieces of eight tucked into a pouch, along with a few rings, necklaces, and oddly, a silver spoon.*

Ok, if you can all be patient with me, I promise the next bit is coming up in a short while. If you want to play around with Elizabeth, the pirates, and Barbossa.
If you could please leave the pieces of eight, James, and killing off of Gov. Swann to me, I'd really, really appreciate it.
Oh, and if possible, can you keep the ships in the area of Shipwreck Cove? That'd make it a bit easier for James to join up with the crew after Very Bad Things Happen to him in my posts.
I don't think you'll be disappointed, but I have to share the computer with other people, and I'm being paged to get off and actually do some housework. Geez. 😛
