Physical edge? I suggest we check out the Batman respect thread...holding up 1,000lbs, his speed, fighting ability etc...

He is well beyond what BP is capable of, hell like stated BP isn't even stated as one of MU's top fighters...

I went to the respect thread forum and checked out Batmans thread. I must say I was very impressed. I knew he was good but man that Batman site is awesome.

Did you like the scan of Bruce bench pressing over two thousand pounds?

I nearly shat myself. Batman SHOULDN'T be that strong, even in a comic book world. He is WAY too lithe to also be twice as strong as the strongest human in the real world!

I didn't see that one I don't think. Does it way it was that much?

One of the plates on the barebell reads 500 lbs (it's hard to read in the scan, but is more visible in the actual panel). There is an even larger plate BEHIND that one, and some smaller ones in front.

Being conservative, and saying that the larger plate BEHIND the five hundred pound one was also only five hundred pounds, that'd be a thousand on each side of the bar. Two thousand pounds. Plus the smaller weights, plus the bar itself.

Well over one ton. Insane! 😱 😱 😱

AHHHHHHHHHH! BATMAN HAS SUPERHUMAN-STRENGTH! 😱 Omg, are you serious? That's rediculous. Even Captain America can't do that.

iirc there is a scan of cap pressing 2400 lbs

It's arguable whether Cap pressed 1100 or 2200.

because it is only labeled on the one side, right?

Yes. It is unclear whether the electric dials are for each plate, or for the entire bar.

Both have been argued. Both are sensical. It's up to each individual to decide for themselves.

normally with weights the way it works is that each side says its own ammount of weight, so going with how weights normally work he was pressing 2200 pounds, but he was damn near doing it effortlessly.

Yes, but these were hardly 'normal weights.'

They were electronically calibrated. Who knows if they worked on some sort of magnetic or gravitonic system. Who knows if you could have even taken the individual plates off or not? If not, it would make sense for each side to display the amount of total weight, rather than half of the total weight.

ya, ive heard this debate....

imho there isn't enough of a difference from class 1-2 for any real issues. But people like their numbers 😛

In this case, it would be the difference between class 1 and class .5.

😛.

If the electronic weights are anything in comparision to what Reed often builds for the Ben, it would for a whole, weird gravity based things...

Not that it really makes any difference...Bruce is still going to put the beating on T'Challa

Exactly. However, since we do not know one way or the other, the feat is ambiguous.

It can, very easily, be argued either way. 1100, 2200, doesn't matter.

It's hardly Cap's best strength feat either way.

Oh, and Bruce still puts T'Challa down.

and that sir, is exactly why I don't like numbers 😛 😮

EDIT: and I'm going to say T'Challa 6/10 😖hifty:
Hes got the herb 😖hifty:😂

Out of all the BP feats I've seen, none of them really give me the impression that in straight H2H, he could beat Batman. Batman wins this.

I used to have herbs all the time 😖hifty:.

Doesn't mean I would have beaten Batman.
