This thread really isn't about Diana. It's about Diana's weapons and the ability to use them and the Godwave effectively for the win.

Surfer can be injured by, but does not have a weakness to magic. Superman has a WEAKNESS to magic- a magic sword will damage him MORE than just a "really sharp one." It's inconsistent, but this weakness is there. Surfer doesn't have this problem.

unfortunately I don't own a scanner. the scan exists on the forums though (respect thread, possibly?) it occurred during his first meeting with red shift. exiting the dimension they were both trapped in (without the board and weakened, mind you) required shrinking himself to subatomic size to leave through the collapsing opening. He's done it before to enter the microverse, but this is the only issue I've personally read.

that comparison was made to illustrate the differences in base durability- it's a pretty big gap. even with the armor on, Wonder woman was killed by a blast from a grandmother box (I believe the energy was drawn from the core of apokolips) during JLA's rock of ages saga. She's not invulnerable with it. In comparison, Surfer has flown through suns and supernovas on his own, with no damage. Even with the armor, surfer has better high end showings.

glad to help you out. the "temperature" of space can vary- but generally it's accepted that the "temperature" of space is only a couple degrees above absolute zero. the closer you get to things like suns, planets, comets, etc...the higher that temp goes due to background radiation, etc.
so no, it isn't possible IRL, but comic book science has been known to bend the rules now and then.

She needed the Godwave becuz the being she was fighting was undefeatable by anything less. Also in this forum, the op stated she would have the Guantlet of atlas on. This grants her sufficiant invulnerablity to withstand the Godwaves over powering properties.

Neither does Gog as he is specifically vastly more powerful than Surfer and yet he was hurt by the sword. Indeed Gog is Cosmic and Magical and was hurt severly by the sword. Also surfer has no specific way to defend against being touched by the lasso of Truth.

The Shield of Aegis tactic is to block Surfer's Blast should he use a wide arc. But I'm betting with The armor AND the guantlet, WW's invulnerability would be thru the roof and sitting thier with her bracelets crossed wouldn't be needed.

Actually the Grandmother box is a reality warping powerhouse. It makes sense that anything passing thru it would die. The very fact that her suit was hard enough to disrupt the grandmother box is a testament to it's durability. And We aren't talking just about the armor. We are talking about the Armor and The Guantlet of atlas. It grants the wearer ten times the invulnerability and stamina as well as shown when artemis wore it.

Can he do it? certainly. Will he? no, it's out of character. but not for a bloodlusted surfer, which this is.

Actually The only reason she couldn't control the Godwave for a long poeriod of time was becuz her body was too weak for it's power. So wearing the Guantlet of atlas would give her considerably more Durability.
Also u keep making the mistake of comparing her durability with just the armor. I'm talking Armor + Guantlet making her ten times more invulernerable, plus the shield if she should choose to use it.
One last thing. The core of apoc is an extension of DS power and is not just some regular core of some regular planet.
If Diana can summon the Godwave with the Aegis shield up then it is all she wrote for SS.
I don't see SS hitting her with energy.
Diana has blocked a barrage of lasers (speed of light) and has went toe to toe with Superman (speed wise). Plus she has the Aegis shield (crossing her braclets).
I don't see how SS gets out of the lasso tiara combo.
Her tiara (and sword) can decapitate SS. And SS is only faster traveling through hyperspace and never in fighting situations (Even though he is somewhat fast). He gets hit by Thor, Hulk, Spiderman, need I say more.
The lasso and Aegis shields are her equalizers (They ensure at least stalemate). Just my opinion.

It's really not all that hard to think she'll win, with all the powerups she's got in this fight. Surfer fans need to quite being so stubborn and except that he loses. 🙁

Anyway, one of the most significant points brought up was by h1a8 who reminded us all that Surfer has no only demonstrated high speed when in traveling, yet in his entire comic history to this day his combat speed has never been great, not once, ever (and I mean against a major or competant enemy, not space dinosaurs).
With that said, it is completely possible to see why Diana could keep up in speed with him in battle, when the likes of so many others have done so; their is no way possible for SS to escape from the lasso.
