Just take the posts of the quran already posted and that you quoted.

actualy both islam/the prophet and muslims themselves do and are proud to call themselves a nation. thas another difference between islam, the overwhelming majority of its followers do agree that its not just a PERSONAL choice but a moral/political/social duty to follow the TRUTH, islam, they are as much psychologically coerced as any patriotic nation{reguardless of practical real life situations} in their HEARTS islam is a nation. the nation of righteous, not a mere form of SPIRITUALITY, but practicality.

I just don't know how to tolerate such an intolerant religion.... 🙁

Muslims are not a nation.

Certain Muslim groups and Muslims call themselves the ''Nation of Muhammad''. Furthermore, in places such as Bosnia, Muslims in region call themselves ''Muslims by nationality''.

The phrase(s) might be all wrong, but its not an unfamiliar phenomenon and has been used among Muslims.

And its totally wrong...so there's no point.

I am telling you what the Muslims refer themselves as. Just like JIA seems to think he can claim Muslims cannot possibly worship the same deity because of Bible, you make the claim that they cannot call themselves a nation.

If they want to be a nation, then they should be. As long as noone is harmed. And calling themselves a Nation of Muhammad does not harm anybody.

It really doesn't matter.

''Islamophobia'' is also incorrcest term, but it is still overwhelmingly used.

Who? Muslims I know do not reffer to themselves as a "nation." Who are Muslims? because clearly your sweeping generalizations do not accurately protray the facts.

ANd what is meant by nation? Clearly it is not a political nation, because major political divisions exist within majority Muslim areas of the world...what dignificance does this have?

What is the difference between ISLAMICISTS, who call for a nation based on the Muslim faith, and Muslims, who are a very diverse group of people only superficially unified by their religion.

are all nations political, they simply have to be groups large enough and have sumthin in common which is strong enough in certain situation to coerce them on a certain high level. muslims {most of them} consider themselves part of a nation for reasons i have explained. the PRACTICAL difficulties of pulling them alll together are another thing. but dont forget at one time in history, the islamic empire was whole and dwarfed everything else, yet it still had division, wudnt u consider that as a nation. ideologically most muslims continue the trend.

..........All nations are political, or territorial, or ethnic.

1. a large body of people, associated with a particular territory, that is sufficiently conscious of its unity to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own: The president spoke to the nation about the new tax.
2. the territory or country itself: the nations of Central America.
3. a member tribe of an American Indian confederation.
4. an aggregation of persons of the same ethnic family, often speaking the same language or cognate languages.

Muslims do not have association with a particular territory. (As in, they don't all live in, let's say, Saudi Arabia).

They are not a territory.

They are not an American Indian Confederation.

They are not of the same ethnic family.

They are not a nation.

Leon has better things to do with his time than worry about going the extra mile in language.

Your emphasis on "proper English" is a direct result of you lack of knowledge concerning semantics. A deeper understanding of the said semantics would reveal to you that unless the "errors" made in English change the meaning of the phrase as understood by readers or listeners, the aforesaid errors are irrelevant.

^awww u guys {teary eyed} . lol.

It does not harm anyone. It doesn't make them a nation either though.

Though obviously not true, seeing the responses that followed in this thread, even if it was metaphorical it still made little sense.
