to say some one raped you is a big acusation because in islam the rapist is killed unlike america which so called gives women freedom there are over 2000 cases of rape everyday everyday! and you called that giving freedom to women islam is protecting women from this kind of stuff thats why they wear the hijab that is why they need a mhram when they are travellingand hinduism does not evan treat its own belivers equally and you know it
YES i know hinduism is not perfect, but you dont see me going aaround saying it is. When someone insults your faith and YOU KNOW they are wrong, bring it to their attention properly. IF they are right, and you dont want to admit it, be a man and admit it FFS.
So how bout this, is the world SOOOO unsafe that a woman needs to be completely covered and has to be accompanied with someone allll the time????? Rape (most times ) is not the woman's fault. A woman cannot be blamed for being raped because she has more freedom. Rape is the express of power for a man......... its a MAN's problem. Soooo when a man goes and rapes a 70 yr old grandmother in her own home after robbing her, IS THAT HER FAULT? Does she need to have a witness in order to bring this man to justice? Was the rape her fault? ................ lets change it up a bit........ a woman is in university studying, attempting to make a better life for herself and a man rapes her. IS it her fault? Does her will to further educate herself make it ok for her to be raped? this list can go on forever.
Big accusation you say??? And when it has been medically proven so, why should she not have the right to bring that man to justice? Why does she need a witness? Why does her family want to kill her, even though she has done nothing wrong? Men go around sleeping with many women, A woman does that and she gets stoned to death? Where is the equality in that?
Some muslim states are bringing up their women to modern day standards and I commend them in that. Some states are evolving in their thinking towards women, but others are not. But what about the others where women are glaringly forced into the background of life?
The Hijab is a personal choice. LOL while in high school, we had a muslim girl who wore a hijab. One day a few of us went to the river to spend our last time together and she took of her hijab( she was still in a long pants and t-shirt). Some of us felt soooooo strange seeing her without it. I think someone commented that it made us feel like she was naked almost. So we came to accept seeing her with it on, we had no problems with it. WE understood the reason and even for just a moment thought that she should not be without it . WHy? because we understood why she did it.
The head of the physics dept in university here is a muslim woman, and she never used to cover her hair. One day she started covering her hair and after a while we got used to seeing her with it on. In fact if anyone passed her on the corridor and some hair was sticking out from under it, we would bring it to her attention . you know, just like the common courtesy you would give someone if their clothes was not right, if a button was undone etc.
SO more people understand the differences that muslims have in practising their religion than you believe. So try to take that into consideration , even when most around you are attacking Islam. Answering as an angry muslim simply further propagates the stereotypes they have in their brain.
