What's So Bad About Hudlin? Really?

I know you're just kidding, but others reading might not know you so well. People from Hudlin's forum have referenced KMCers saying things like "Hudlin must have ghostwritten it!" and...it doesn't exactly make us look good.

Have they referenced all the faux racism here? I think that would make us look worse.

I forget the full reason, just they weren't playing fair or something like that.

Just so you know, the reason why T'Challa and the council of Wakanda didn't give the U.S. the cancer cure is because they knew
that the corrupt American businessmen, pharmacists and world
leaders would only use the cure to profitted themselves instaed of
their own denizens. The Wakandan council also knew that the rest
of the world leaders would use it as a weapon.

So you see, it wasn't because they were "playing fair', it was because
they didn't trust the world leaders having the cancer cure, because
the wakandans council knew that some very corrupt people would
get their hands on it for their own agendas.

And really, can you blame them?

I would love to know how giving a cure out Publicly for ALL TO HAVE would make it possible for a "Greedy Businessman" to exploit the situation. What I see is Apparently Black Panther Is Smarter than Reed Richards.....

Shit... why didn't they send Banner to Black Panther a long time ago? Would he not do it because Some evil Businessmen Would Exploit the situation and corrupt things as well?

If they didn't, they're racist. He's beyond retarded.

First of all, it wasn't because of that. Because, Marvel need new faces
for writing their books and they needed someone to writer another
Black Panther mini-series, so they chosen Reggie Hudlin because
the powers that be at Marvel thought that Reggie would be able to
spuce-up T'Challa, Wakanda and everything of the Black Panther
mythos for the BP series. It was suppose to be a mini-series, but
after the mini-series was over, Marvel decided to have Reggie
make the BP mini into an ongoing with some of the continuity
from the mini-series intact. So remember, Hudlin didn't come to
Marvel for the job as the current writer of Black Panther, Marvel came
to him to offer the job.

Also, Accel you forgot the Russian Radioactive Man and him messing up Klaw as well. [/B]

Just so you know, the R-Man from that series was originally a
non-continiuty character for the Black Panther, but that pretty
much change after the mini became an ongoing, so since that
R-Man is apart of the Marvel 616 continuity I doubt it isn't that
bad.

That'd be awesome! 😍

Like it or not the point about Goliath murder vs Banshee and the 40 mutant students murders still stands.
Wait... someone is trying to say Storm would be more affected by the murder of someone she doesn't know very well, than the murder or a friend and former teammate? 🤨

Hudlin's problem is that he tries to damned hard. He wants to potray BP as smart, but makes him an ass and the stupidest man on Earth.

An ass over the cancer thing... and what kind of moron takes books on their honeymoon? Especially when your new wife is Storm?!

No just shock at seeing you on here, when I'm on here. I heard of your illustrious return, but hadn't seen it for myself... 😊

Yeah, lost interest in comics for awhile after Decimation. Heard rumors that got me interested again.

There's a great sense of irony in this thread, which is probably why I'm drawn to it.

Haven't read through all of the thread but BlueDMighty might be a strong source of it.

Hehe, poor Paf-Paf. From the looks of Endangered Species, no more mutants policy is being widened.

It does look that way doesn't it? Can't say for certain what ES will hold for the future. Callous as it sounds some of the rumors I've heard it doesn't really matter to the character I like so much. Wolverine Origins did quite a bit to piss me off though.

Oh well, que sera, sera.

Parting is such sweet sorrow and all that, but I have me some marking to do. Mehopes to see you again on here some time.

Probably not on this thread. There isn't much meat here other than Hudlin's defenders being kinda shallow. *shrugs* heard mentality can be a pain to break though.

weaponizing the cure for cancer. that's what the wakandans were afraid of?

I'm Back.

Knowledge is Power. I can see how a corrupt Government and its media could spin a cure in a number of ways.

First, lets consider:

#1

A nation (especially not a separatist nation), if smart, does not go to other countries announcing to the media that they have just cured anything.

This is so for various reasons: could be considered "posturing" or an act of passive aggression by the leaders of said country. Also, capitalism is the oil that runs the machine. Said cure could be "bad news" for some major political players.

#2

Being a separatist nation, they might not be keen on having a spike in "Cancer Cure" tourism.

#3

If the Cure fell into the wrong hands it could, potentially, be reverse engineered into something deadly.
