like darkseid vs superman, theres no way superman can live up to the feats and ablities darkseid has, but he has beaen him in the past.

darkseid is way too powerfull for doomsday to handle. there abilities say it all, darkseid is the superior villiain here.

i think if this were to be a real matchup, and not some retarded writing to show how doomsday is powerfull, but will get beat by superman later on to show how powerfull superman is, darkseid would win everytime.

Yea I guess it does depend on how one would view it. Though from what it shows its like saying that Doomsday died during that huge explosion later on in the book that rocked Superman badly. Cause he's hit by it then comes out of the ground and proceeds to continue beating on Superman unharmed by it.

And yep Laguna is the coolest one..Though Zell is a close second imo. Course I only like 8 and 10 ^^;

Except Darkseid isn't Galactus, and if the Omega Effect isn't gonna work, and he obviously can't take him H2H, then what?

Your reasoning would work if Darkseid either had a larger arsenal of powers, or another feasible way to beat him, but Darkseid threw everything but the kitchen sink at him, and Doomsday didn't stay down.

No he didn't. you are showing that you know jack shit about ds. DS has shown to be nearly as powerful as Galactus normal lvls. DS didnt' throw matter or reality manip at DD. He didn't use TP. He didn't even call his guard or use the planet itself as he has done. You know nothing about DS. DS has beaten Superman and Lobo hand to hand with ease. Please just stop it.

Sure Doomsday may have beaten Darkseid, be it an avatar now or whatever I don't really care about that, but Superman NEVER beat Doomsday in that book. Doomsday broke Superman's arm with no effort, poisoned him, and just proceeded to kick his butt while Superman was powered up by mother box. If not for them being teleported by WaveRider to the end of time Doomsday would have killed Superman again and he'd have been alone that time...

From everything I seen Doomsday beats Darkseid...though from all I heard about Darkseid Pre-Crisis and since apparently he still is that powerful just not shown he stomps Doomsday with little effort at all.

well then before doomsday can even throw a punch, whats stopping DS from either teleporting him into some other dimension, or erasing him from existance? darkseid can create life as well as re-create it, and resurect it. he has turned gods into mortal childs, and single handedly defeated the 4th world.

In my opinion, DS would be able to create avatars of himself by the thousands to help him fight, take control of his mind, teleport him into the source wall, or simply erase him from ever existing in the timeline, he himself has done this before stating that the oe can be manipulated many ways, not for it to just be a highly powerfull blow.

Okay, when has he done even half of that? We've only seen him able to create one avatar at a time.

Also, since when does Darkseid ever just 'port someone away when he's pissed? He goes for the kill, and when he does, he'll lose.

if DS went ALL out using every bit of power he had and all his feats the way things are supposed to be debated in here, DS takes this 10/10.

like i said before, he has the ability to teleport anyone/thing to a point of which he desires and then can easily erase the person/thing from ever existing.

if he were going all out, doomsday would not be able to take a second breath before all the matter that makes up his being was transmuted and changed to whatever DS pleased. he could literally turn him into a candyapple or something. he showed this ability when he changed slobo into a statue, and ol-vir into a dust cloud. he once created a starship the size of (new jersey i belive, not sure) but he created a starship to hold his army, from absoluteley nothing.

if he wanted, he could tele doomsday to the end of time himself, as he teleported slobo 1 million months into the future.

doomsday is nothing compared to DS
