According to forum rules "battlefield removal" is a victory, that said it wasn't the real Darksied anyway not that if it was it would have made a difference as the only thing that would truly stop Darksied was entropy.

I've always hate the concept of Doomsday as a character, as he shouldn't really stand a chance against the likes of a decent G.L. and the Martian Man hunter, let a lone a cosmic entity such as Darksied, Fate or Shazam. I don't think the concept of Entropy is really necessary

Not really as the avatar situation was something that came to light long after Hunter/Prey was written. It's a new part of the plot as was Desaad. It's information which was not available to the reader at the time of Hunter/Prey being written. Not that that matters battlefield removal counts as a win. The real DS would have lost to Doomsday. Nothing could stop him but entropy.

Actually your missing pages 43 onwards where Darkseid gets up and blasts DD only to be blindsided by the Cyborg as I remember.
