We all agree, the point of disagreement is i it was the real Darkseid most of us think he was in the source wall at this point where he had been since shortly after the original crisis and it was either a clone avatar or Desaad. something puzzles me, if Superman thought that it was impossible to hurt DS, wouldn't that mean that his wins against DS are BS or someone didn't pay attention to DC history. Also, DS did kill DOomsday, Doomsday simply returned from Death as DS says DD is BEYOND DEATH. not Unkillable. very different. DS won the Fight. Without using reality manip or even the Omega effect. DS wanted to show his superiority with pure force and he paid for it later on when DD surprise attacked him. Every one knows DD is far far stronger than superman as DD has evolved so It makes sense that HE could SURPRISE attack DS.

NOt clark Humor, IF you been reading DC like I have, You would know that DS has humiliated Clark So many times it's not funny. He has bitched him, sent him away, punked him and even laughed at Clarks strongest blows. Lobo can own Superman when he's pissed and Lobo couldn't even make DS flinch and hurt himself in the process. So it's some screwey shit going on over at DC. I'm glad that IC most likely will retcon all of that bullshit.

I can take DD having a surprise victory over DS since technically DS Won the fight. Even according to forum rules, who ever goes down first is the loser. DD lost and then came back stronger. If anyone evolves from an omega attack, they would indeed come back superior to most anyone physically. Also No one has ever beaten DS in a one on one with out some kind of extenuating circumstance. And this in my mind makes DS impossible to beat in a str8 up fight. NO ONE has beaten DS in a str8 up fight. except himself in GDS.

BTW Superman attacked DD later with a sonicgun, turning his brain into jelly, DD adopted immediatly to the situation, growin bones over the ears. It's probably that he was killed by DS (Avatar😛) and instantly overcame the OB, returning prepared to take on DS.
Anyway, the "REAL" DS would own DD, ALWAYS. This parody (or Avatar) however wouldn't.

As I stated before, doomsday's power allows him to evolve and become more powerful the more powerful the defeat/death. He was killed by the OMega beams, of course he would evolve to be even superior to DS in physical combat.

NO. DS clearly says DD is beyond Death. not that he is immortal. We all know that doomsday comes back after death and can die. DS is a god with cosmic senses. DD Died and then came back. Thus surprising DS. Read the book.
I have read the book. And he doesn't kill him at all. He blasts him with the Omega Beams knocking Doomsday. Doomsday busts out of the ground. He revived fast to be killed by somebody a lot more powerful then Superman. If he had died you would think he'd be out for a bit like he was when he died against Supes. He just gets back up right after this time though. The only thing said is Darkseid saying he's dead. The only thing that happened was Doomsday being buried underground and busting out.

Hard to tell if DS really killed Doomsday there, not that I think about it.
I was bringing up the fact that Libertine, or Sir Whirlysplat if you'd rather call him that, was way off in his assumptions of how the battle took place, and Darksed banished Doomsday, when it was Desaad who did it.
Either way, the debate's over. Darkseid was defeated by Doomsday, albeit by cheap shot or no. It was really him.
