That Swanky couldn't take Thor's hat.

Alan Moore had Ozymandias catch a bullet in Watchmen, was that shit writing? 🙄

Deadpool is crap nowadays, I don't even find him funny any longer to be honest. Not that I did especially in the first place.

Ozymandias didn't catch it already in flight, he had placed his hand in the way of the bullet before it was shot.

On a different note, wouldn't SvFL basically be PIS on Firelord's part?

pretty much. It's actually addressed in the Vs. rules.

Nobody's denied it thus far.

I think it'd be more CIS. I think he said himself he could of burned the city down but he wanted to take Spidey down honorably or something.

Isn't that always the way though? You think you outmatch someone so much and you get cocky and suddenly they catch you in a compromising position.

Well, CIS and PIS then, because even if he should decide out of stupidity just to use his left index finger....he should have won.

He is a universe destroyer however.

Full-Powered Galactus has never appeared in comics. He's never even been mentioned. The notion that he's equal to Eternity is something some guy just made up, and it caught on at a disturbing rate.

I thought it was because he talked to Eternity once and appeared without his armor as a glowing star - guy of equal stature and they addressed each other as equals.

I have to disagree here K,

It's true FP Galactus has never really been depicted but,

Eternity and Galactus are equals nonetheless.

Without Galactus there can be no Eternity.

Galactus' existence is what keeps the Multiverse intact.

Eternity and Galactus hailed each other as peers/equals.

When Galactus returned to his Natural State,

he became a Star that would Readiate Energy outward for Infinity:

"The TRUE FORM of GALACTUS is REVEALED at last"

"A NEW STAR is BORN" ..................... "Reed, WHAT HAPPENED"?

"Galactus has been converted to ENERGY ...

Energy that will Radiate For EVER Outward"

Is Galactus Infinite in the Multiversal sense like Eternity?

I believe so.

IMO, FP Galactus equals the Totality of Eternity (the Multiverse)

There's no proof of that.

The misconception that we should be reading comics to look for feats and evidence to use in battles, rather than for characters, writing, artwork, and storylines.

Also, along the same lines, the misconception that we should have a rigid cosmic hierarchy rather than a healthy sense of ambiguity....the same kind that powers much of comic-dom.

You're crazy. Get the hell out of my forums.

Didn't that blast weaken it however ?

That's getting on my nerves as well.

The blast was Alex Luthor's energy, [which is like K-Nite to AM], funneled through Darkseid's tech..

Darkseid's OE didn't even play a part in AM's defeat.

Check it out:

Galactus states himself himself that by his nature he is a limited physical being:

Here he talks of how a Phoenix avatar is hooked up to a source of near infinite potential whilst he requires outside sustenance.

and others on panel do the same

Maelstrom, talsk of Galactus' inferiority due to his limited physical nature, his dependence on outside sustenance.

A hungry Galactus fully recharged by Gravity:

Showing a scan of comments about a dead Galactus and trying to use them to insinuate things about Galactus' current status is somewhat illogical 😬

in mm's defense, he is speaking his opinion on something that can only be speculated on and he is utterly entitled to his opinion.

that said, i'm with you and kk, gs. i don't think galactus is equal to eternity either. he is physical, not an abstract and he DOES rely on outside sources to maintain his power.

however, the question is at FULL POWER/FULL POTENTIAL can he PERHAPS be equal to eternity?

i don't know. maybe? the only problem i've had with this particular 'misconception' is that people have stated galactus=eternity as a 'FACT' when in reality it is actually anything BUT a fact.

the whole -- radiating energy forever seems completely illogical to me -- if he has infinite energy inside him, why does he need to feed? 😕

i don't believe we've ever seen a galactus equal to eternity (nor do i consider the black celestial arc evidence of that -- that was a "celestially-tampered" galactus so i don't think it has any relevence to galactus discussions). i won't rule out the possibility that some day he may be shown to be an equal of eternity however.
