This is the only 'evidence' I know of, which explains the 'true' role of Galactus, [and it involves him creating the big bang of a Universe]:

To be fair that is an out of continuity story, so the quotation marks on "evidence" and "true" were well placed.

Galactus in 616 as far as we've seen doesnt store the planetary energy he absorbs, he needs it just to survive. He uses it up shortly after he's taken it on board. So this out of continuity storys depiction isnt in the least bit illustrated within continuity.

On top of that characters such as the Phoenix Force within continuity are said to perpetuate the life cycle and to embody the Big Bang.

That was an enjoyable read though. Have you read Squadron Supreme: Death Of A Universe? Another good read. 🙂

I just said it was all I had seen as far as the 'final' role of Galactus is concerned.

I didn't say it was in continuity. 😉

"The Last Galactus Story" was excellent, imo.

And I read SS: DOAU not too long ago.... A great read as well. 👆

Galactus states himself himself that by his nature he is a limited physical being:

TALK, TALK, TALK (from a Galactus who's not in his Natural Sate)

VS.

ACTUALLY HAPPENING! (to a Galactus in his Natural State) 😬

When Galactus returned to his Natural State,

he became a Star that would Readiate Energy outward for Infinity:

"The TRUE FORM of GALACTUS is REVEALED at last"

"A NEW STAR is BORN" ..................... "Reed, WHAT HAPPENED"?

"Galactus has been converted to ENERGY ...

Energy that will Radiate For EVER Outward"

AGAIN.

Without Galactus there is no Multiverse.

The Totality of Eternity (the Multiverse) merged with Galan.

Eternity and Galactus hailed each other as peers/equals on panel.

Replies will not be addressed,

that's what I believe and Talk won't change that.

the whole -- radiating energy forever seems completely illogical to me --

if he has infinite energy inside him,

why does he need to feed?

Because a single Planet is hardly a snack,
it's just enough to keep him satiated while he searches for another Planet.

This is why he must constantly feed, because it isn't enough to sustain him for long.

For the sake of the Universe, Galactus takes out one Planet at a time,
living on the edge between momentary satiation and hunger.

Oh yes, IMO. 🙂

Your inquiry is logical and understandable.

My best guess,

while he's in his armor he needs to be replenished,
perhaps containing him within the suit is an extraordinary expenditure of Energy,

when free of his armor, his energy state can freely draw on the Cosmos to sustain him automatically.

IMO.

Did it ever occur to anyone that Reed is talking about how the light will radiate "forever outward" rather than "outward forever"? Which implies that the energy will keeping traveling forever even though the star will not last forever.

Not to mention he says that it will prevent him from reforming. The best way to stop energy from reforming (since it can't be destroyed) is to toss it away in all directions.

Just thowin' that out there for ya 😐

Yeah, I'm not really buying into the notion of Galactus having infinite energy.

Oh ya well, Galactus created a big bang, and a universe!
Word up homes.

And Stan Lee created Fly M, er, Spider Man.

that . . . doesn't work for me. galactus would have died on at least a couple occasions of hunger. (once reed was put on trial for saving his life nd eternity spoke on his behalf.) dying of hunger means he would have had no energy left to sustain him. if he died of hunger it doesn't make any sense that he would suddenly become a star and have . . . energy that lasts forever.

meh, any speculation is equally valid, but equally force-fitted. when he was a star though he seemed to lack any consciousness, nor did he seem to assume the role of an abstract or did he seem in any way capable of interacting with people. and a single star is certainly not an equal to eternity.

imo, the whole scene was pretty silly, and reed's comments were equally silly. on top of that none of the scene really did much to indicate what galactus may ultimately be revealed to be. (mark my words -- there will be a retcon of that whole scene at some point. 🙂 )

could he prove to be an equal to eternity someday? sure. but nothing we have seen yet really supports this, imo.

And Galactus is more powerful than Stan Lee.

I can't possibly be the only one who's sick of "my cosmic being is better than your cosmic being" Jibber Jabber...

A forum misconception is that being resistant to telepathic control or manipulation, makes one immune to it and also makes one immune to direct offensive telepathy.

As demonstrated by Mystique?

Misconception:
That people must be > Cyttorak in order to cut Juggs off from his power source.

As demonstrated by many characters, but yip she's among them. Her mind can't be read or located due to it's fluid nature, she'd also be difficult to consciously control or rewire, but that doesn't mean that Xavier can't pwn the hell out of her with direct offensive telepathy.

That's the exact same thing I said, and NO ONE believed me.

Also, that Cyttoraks enchantment is equal to Cyttorak himself.

The blast was Alex Luthor's energy, [which is like K-Nite to AM], funneled through Darkseid's tech..

Darkseid's OE didn't even play a part in AM's defeat.

Check it out:

Hmmm.....

I swear I saw a scan once where Darkseid blasts Am with the OE and it funnels through spectre....

If such a scan exists.... I've never seen it.
